This is my first time riding your bus, better than Greyhound. Price is little high. Driver needs know how to greete, he seemed unhappy, unfriendly, like greyhound bus driver.

It was not made clear that there would be stops of the way. I would not have selected this bus if there was stops even with the low price. This is a negative for me. It should be made more clear about the bus schedule. Also a second stop was made to change drivers, making the bus at least 35 min late. I’m a stickler for time and schedules.

Bus was advertised as having charging/plus and wi fi. wifi did not work and there was no way to charge devices. Bathroom had pee all over seat and floor and no hand sanitizer or sink. Rest of bus was clean and comfy.

Unfortunately, our issue was with the advertised arrival time to NYC. According to the schedule, we were due to arrive at the bus stop at 10:20. We figured this would give us plenty of time to get to the Plaza Hotel for an event at 11:30. However, we did not get dropped off until 11:00, and, as a result, did not make it to the Plaza by the scheduled start of our event. While we were just a few minutes late, this caused us a lot of stress. Traffic is unpredictable, but it is very misleading to advertise arrival at 10:20 when we actually arrived 40 minutes later.

I had a nice comfortable ride from Boston to NYC. The bus departed exactly on time and I was pleasantly surprised to receive complimentary water! The sears reclined and I was able to get a nice nap. Thankfully I had my blanket because I’m cold-natured, but on a hot summer day a nice cool bus is a great way to travel. I wasn’t able to access the WiFi (not sure it was a Vai Le) which was the only minor annoyance. Otherwise and overall it was a nice ride!

This was my first gotobus experience. A 9 hour experience. There was a delay due to New York City traffic but that had nothing to do with the bus company or driver (NYC traffic is horrible). We were kept informed of the Friday by text and email. I only dealt with the driver as I had no issues that required further attention. The driver was very friendly and professional. I felt that my son and I were safe in his hands. He announced every stop more than once to make sure that everyone heard. His announcements were clear. The seats were comfortable, although it does tend to get a bit tight when the person in front of you reclines. Gotobus provided water to its passengers which you don’t think anything of, until you’re a few hours in and get really thirsty. I would definitely recommend Gotobus to anyone looking for a safe and low cost travel option.

I had two ordeal with your service. 1. I booked online on Sunday 15th June, 2019, from New York to Baltimore but the process couldn’t be verified and my money is still hanging. So I had to pay cash while my $22 is till hanging
2. I booked online again on 16th June, 2019 from Towson Town Center to New York by 6.40am for $17. While waiting for the bus arrival at the Dunaley Plaza opposite Towson center, the time passed without seeing the bus, I called customer service and spent over 16minutes but I was told that the bus has left, so it was cancelled. I was stranded and does not have internet access because I’m a visitor in the United State. So, both monies are still pending

I had a seat a couple of rows from the restroom, I expected it to suck a little bit but it was worse than I expected. Every time someone would leave the bathroom it would fill the immediate area with a disgusting odor. It wasn't bathroom odor either, I didn't know how to explain it but my mom said that it might've been exhaust from the bus. Whatever it was it smelt awful and made me sick most of the trip headache and everything. I've been on these type busses and have had to sit near the bathroom and this has never happened. I have been fine with no problems with the quality of air. Other than that the trip was fine, driver was fine and the ride was okay. Please fix that though it was literally sickening.

The service is not bad at all! I would recommend it. The bus started 1-2 minutes later off start time, because someone of passengers arrived a bit late. We were in Washington about 10 minutes later than planned, but it's ok in comparison with awful service of the Eastern Coach I took back from Washington to NYC! The driver was ok, there is also free water and wifi available on board.

I enjoyed riding with “Go to Bus”. However, i changed my ticket date and time, and i was charged for it, but i never got the new ticket. I was told to send a picture of my ID and after i did this, I still didn’t receive a new ticket. When i got to the bus, I had to talk to the ticket collector. At first he was not going to let me board, but he changed his mind and let me get on the bus , even though he was rude about the situation. I just wish that go to bus was more organized when it comes to rescheduling tickets. Other than that, it wasnt too bad of an experience.

The trip from Columbia to NYC was fine. The trip home took longer than expected because it went on a different route round the Baltimore Beltway. This added about ½ hour to our expected arrival time. It would be nice to have been informed of this beforehand.

Suggest GotoBus to make it clearer on children policy. We need to travel with a five year old child. When I booked the bus ticket, I clearly stated the passengers are two adults and one child. The system only prompts information required for adults, with nowhere to input children’s information. So I thought it’s free for children. To play safe, I wrote an email to double check but only got reply 3 days later that children older than 2 years old need to buy ticket. So I bought an adult ticket for my child just the night before my trip. The ticket is more expensive than my ticket. Hope GotoBus states children policy clearer on its platform to avoid such experience, e.g. to allow to input children ‘s information such as age so we can know from the beginning children older than two years need ticket.

Although the bus driver was extremely friendly. He was a little bit all over the place when we got to the Maryland, D.C. area. The gps was a issue and it made him very flustered. Other than that it was a fairly decent ride.

I would like to address the boarding process from NYC to MD. The lack of organization and direction from the driver resulted in me being pushed by a passenger trying to board the bus. It may be less chaotic if someone was available to check tickets and keep passengers organized in a line prior to the arrival of the bus. This would ensure the safety of your clients and on time departures.

I read so many bad reviews about this site, but i didn't have any problems at all. I went from DC to New York on time. Just make sure your there 45 mins before hand not 30min. They do over book.

This was my first experience with Gotobus. I loved it! The bus was clean, cool, comfortable and fun. I loved all the windows and the plush seats. The driver, SETH, was very professional, prompt, pleasant, helpful and a very careful driver. The bus was spacious, CLEAN, comfortable and well-maintained. The restroom was pretty clean and smelled good. The ONLY thing is that I wished the Tampa stop was better lit and in a safe location. I was EXTREMELY pleased with my overall experience. I had a gut feeling that this was the bus to go....
The price was rite and I chose the time slot.
I truly will NOT REGRET IT. The bus arrived 10 minutes early. BIG BIG POINTS, the wifi service was off the hook and the power plugs gave excellent service.

The driver who took over midway was a bit careless.While driving he kept on doing various small things like taking out things from nearby drawers,attending mobile,did not wear seat belt in the beginning....WiFi was not working most of the time.

The bus did not leave NY on time and arrived in DC an hour late. There was no rest stop for the passengers. The bus stopped at Maryland House for a long time but the passengers we not allowed to leave the bus. The electrical outlets on the bus were not working so the I could not charge my phone. This was my first trip on OurBus and probably my last.

Had a horrible experience with them.
Initial pickup was @ Madison Av 8am. We saw road closures at the location at 7:30 am. NO NOTIFICATION from bus company. No one picked up customer service phone. When contacted by chat , the lady sent us new location (Lexington Av )7:54am via text and email. We started running there (elderly passengers with luggage)and reached there at 8:10 am and as expected, no bus. There were 8 other passengers like us who missed the bus. One passenger said she was there since 8:05 am and saw no bus. She had received the notification at 7:54 AM along with us. Calls to customer service again with no answer finally we were able to get a hold of someone in chat session who called us and offered a coupon/voucher and told us to use it an re-book for the next bus at 10 am which was $30 costlier. I felt being ripped off.
The only silver lining in the whole ordeal was the 10 am bus driver who helped us tremendously!
We suffered a lot of frustration due to poor communication from the company and lousy customer service. Not to mention all the programs and booking that we had scheduled in DC had to be cancelled/shifted.
I would never travel through them.

Our bus departed on time, and our driver took safety and punctuality serious BUT when booking the multiple stops were not clear. This trip was extremely long due to the stops and the traffic. I will not be using ourbus again because the trip was simply too long. The many stops made sure that the bus was full. On a long trip, with a back issue I really struggled with discomfort and stiffness.

He did not have a list of tickets holders as other drivers do, and this slowed up the boarding process with folks unprepared to show their electronic copy.
He also did not make any announcement about the stops, and as a first timer taking this bus, this did not help me to make me feel comfortable. I did not know we reached DC until I saw a sign and noticed everyone was getting off.
A passenger had to retrieve my bag which was in the rear of the storage area,and I would have had to crawl into the bus to retrieve it. The driver just stood there.
By far my worst experience taking a bus.

Found bus very clean, driver very professional and departure on time. My only concern was that I observed the driver having to write down on a piece of paper information as we crossed several different state lines. I am hoping he is not required to enter mileage information because this would be a safety concern. In todays current digital age I feel that if he is required to provide the mileage it could be done digitally and safely. Looking forward to riding again in the near future!

This bus line was pretty new to me and I'm very happy with the look of the clean bathrooms and leather seats. I was pretty much sold on this cleanliness and the professional personnel. The End. I'll use them in the future..

Excellent value and service. WIFI is a little slow, and chargers are available at almost every seat. Toilet on board is clean and convenient. Good experience overall.
