MISTREATMENT of customer during the Jan. 12, 2017 trip from Oceanside, route San Diego to Westminster, CA:
For more than 7 years, I have been a regular customer of Xe Do Hoang for trips back and forth from the Bay area (San Jose and Oakland) to Oceanside. Xe Do King (affiliated with Xe Do Hoang) has always been in charge of the transportation between Westminster and San Diego, including pick-up and drop-off in Oceanside for the same one-way $20 fare as Westminster-San Diego passengers. For the past couple of years, I have used, on occasions, the GotoBus Bay area - San Diego bus tickets for both directions.
However, on Jan. 12, 2017, when Mr. Khiem (Xe Do King's owner) picked me up in Oceanside for the trip to Westminster in order for me to take Xe Do Hoang, he YELLED at me when I gave him the GotoBus ticket print-out; he said that, if I, as a customer of Vietnamese origin, use the GotoBus ticket next time, he will NOT take me as passenger, and that I should pay cash instead. He gave me the reason that it is a hassle for him to deal with GotoBus payment, and yet he willingly accepts non-Vietnamese customers with GotoBus tickets without mistreating them. In previous times, when I rode Xe Do King driven by 2 different drivers other than Mr. Khiem, I had no problem using the GotoBus ticket.
Over the years I have recommended many people from other states and countries to use Xe Do Hoang; if Xe Do Hoang does not address this issue with Xe Do King, I will not be inclined to make recommendation anymore.

Love u guys! Go w/you often. Great service usually. But on bus ride home 7/27, it was dangerously hot in the bus. I got heat exhaustion. That is what happens before a person gets heat stroke. Nausea. Cold sweats. & headache. 120 degrees in Chandler on arrival. Very serious in seniors. This Driver must be inexperienced regarding this. A.C. inadequate. If this was his choice, it was a bad choice. NO other complaint or concern. He was not our usual driver. Love our regular guy, the bald one, sorry don't know his name, he is so professional, good English, kind, brings movies! He's great! Hope he was just gone on vacation or something. & love the guy who drives the van. I think the lady sitting in front of me asked for more AC but he said "No". But not my language so I can't be sure. Driver seemed comfortable but no one else was. I should have asked someone to tell him for me. Sorry I didn't. But maybe he should know or there should be a thermometer for all to see. Thank you so much for listening & for your great company! This incident was my only reason for less stars in my rating. I choose your company all the time & recommend you a lot! Respectfully,MP

I recommend this bus!
The last two times I have traveled with you, there has not been enough toilet paper in the restroom. I feel the driver needs to check that before leaving or place an extra roll somewhere in sight. Also, the driver on the second leg of the trip, after Cochella, always seems to drive faster and more wildly. I have ridden with him many times now and it always seems that way. I also did not appreciate the way that a mistake I made on cancelling a ticket back in July 2015 was brought up to me midtrip this time, with the driver telling me "I going to give you one more chance to make this up to me". Then,when he learned I didn't have $40 on me at the moment (and this was the first I had heard that I did wrong)he sounded as if I was some kind of crook. That I did not appreciate!!
You had my phone number, my email address and my home address!!! At ANY time someone should have contacted me directly from your accounting office...I would have straightened it out. The driver said he tried to call me, but I never heard from him...and if he did call, then he should have left a message...but he did not nor did I get an email!! But expecting someone just to give you cash (he wouldn't accept a check or Debit Card...just cash) made me feel like it was some kind of scam. Especially when you are sitting on a bus in the middle of the desert!! I called the person who picked me up in El Monte, & he was able to bring me the cash so I could pay the 2nd driver who promised to give it to the first driver. The whole experience left a bad feeling in my mind re this bus line.
I travel to Chandler several times during the year; I may have to find another way. Sorry this is harsh, but it could have been handled better by an email or letter.
