What is open ticket? When you would like to reschedule a ticket but don't know your new travel dates, most bus carriers issue what is called an open ticket. Often, this is accompanied by a $5 fee per ticket when you request us to change your ticket to an open ticket. Then you can reschedule bus ticket by yourself afterwards.

Please be aware the open ticket is valid for the same route (same direction) and same bus carrier for up to one year. Such open ticket policy varies depending on the specific bus carriers. Please check more details on E-ticket.

What is bus schedule ID Each route and schedule has a unique ID number which appears in the search results as well as on your e-ticket next to the schedule name. It can also be found in the “My Bookings” section of the GotoBus website next to the schedule name.
How to find my lost on the bus? GotoBus and bus carriers are not responsible for lost or misplaced baggage. But you can contact GotoBus or bus carriers to double check if driver find any lost baggage on the bus.
Can minors travel alone? Any passenger under the age of 8 must be accompanied by a passenger of at least 18 years of age at all times. For minors (children between the ages of 9 and 18 years of age) traveling alone, parents must sign a consent letter  here.Some bus operator do not allow minors travel alone even with consent letter, such as Tripper bus.
