My credit card declined, but it still got charged!

If the transaction has been denied for any reason, your credit card or debit card will not be charged by GotoBus/TakeTours. However, your bank (not our bank or our credit card processor) may have set funds aside during the authorization request. Banks will release these funds between three and 30 business days after the transaction or upon use of your credit card or debit card. We offer our sincerest apologies for this inconvenience, but there is absolutely nothing Gotobus/Taketours can do to prevent it. Customers who feel their funds are being held too long should contact the bank that issued their card. This phone number is generally located on the back of the card.

I received an AVS mismatch. What does it mean?

If you received an AVS mismatch, it means that the address provided at checkout did not match the billing address of the cardholder. If you had an error with your billing address, we did NOT charge your card.An error like this stops the transaction. However, sometimes when a transaction fails, the bank has already received the request for funds. As a result, the bank holds the money for a few business days for security reasons (exactly how long depends on the bank).It will generally return to your account after two or three business days. You may contact your bank to find out exactly how long the hold will last.

What is Credit Card Verification? And what do I need to do? It is an online verification form requires customers to upload certain documents to verify valid purchases. If you receive the email requiring CCV, it means your booking is not complete until we receive the Credit Card Verification Form. Normally the card holder is required to upload directly online.
Can I verify my payment without verification?

We are always looking to protect our clients and prevent Unauthorized transactions, because of that we kindly require the Credit Card Holder to fill out and sign the authorization form and send to us along with a photo of the credit card and photo Id. We can only release your order after we receive those information. 

Is online payment method secure? Yes. All transactions are done through us, an IT specialist dedicated to e-payment service for more than 10 years.Secure Sockets Layer (SSL): All requests related to credit card information and passwords (both login and execution passwords) on the website are transmitted and protected under SSL. The transmission is encrypted by Equifax. All information is transferred securely between your computer and the server; third party cannot intercept it.Credit Card Numbers: We do NOT store customers’ credit card numbers in our server. As standard protocol, credit card numbers for pending transactions may be temporarily saved for no more than 7 days.Passwords: Our security system is further guarded by two separate passwords, login and execution, for TakeTours registered users. Users should never share their ID/password with another person.
What currency do you accept? We accept USD and Euros currently, and we will add more currencies later on to be accepted.
Why was my card rejected?

There are many potential reasons why your card was declined. It could be caused by entering the wrong card number or expiration date, or if you have insufficient credit or a daily transaction limit. You may have entered the billing information incorrectly, causing an AVS mismatch.

In this case, you may need to contact your bank or card issuer to verify the information you are entering.

Can I buy tour tickets at the station

No, bus tour is only available for online purchase. All reservation should be made online in advance.



What is my wallet, and what are the rules to use the wallet balance?

Wallet is a form of payment when you are purchasing anything on our website, it is as good as paying with a credit card.

If you are eligible to cancel your order, you'll have the option to transfer the ticket value as credits into your Wallet for immediate use. This way, you won't have to wait 3-5 days for the refund to be processed and you do not need to pay the handling fee.

You cannot add money into the Wallet directly, yet, you can add credit into the Wallet if you have an active gift card or canceling a trip. 

Customer wallet credits are associated with your email and can only be used by you. However, you can use these credits to purchase a ticket/voucher for someone else. The credits will not expire. 

How can I pay? What are the payment methods?

Credit/Debits Cards: Visa, master, AmExIt's simple to make a payment with your credit/debit card, pre-paid cards or any major credit card. Just follow these easy steps

 PayPal: PayPal is an electronic payment system that allows you to pay through the use of your PayPal account or through the PayPal Website.
If the status of your PayPal transaction shows as "Payment Review", reservation is not confirmed until cleared receipt of the payment. In case of any price changes at the time of confirmation, we will notify you of the price change and ask your acceptance before processing your order.To make checkout faster, you'll log in to your PayPal account on the checkout page of Gotobus/Takeours, login your PayPal account and proceed with the payment.

Cashier Check & Money Order: Payment may be made by money  in U.S. funds only. Please complete an order online and select Money Order as your payment type; you will receive an order number afterward. For money order, mail your payment to this address: 19 Broadway, Arlington, 02474. We don't accept fax copy. When we receive the mail package, we will process. Once we process your money orders, we will email you the e-Ticket.

Cash: Only walk in customers can pay cash in our offices.
