Bus had worn out upholstery and many seatbacks broken in the fully reclined position. Also, no working toilet on the bus. Two rest stops only, midnight and 3:30 AM (should have one at around 6:00 AM as well). Assigned seats would alleviate the passenger stress at the multiple pickup locations.

My bus ticket told me to wait at one stop, where it was closed up. They opened it half way at 745 when my bus was to depart at 8. I had to ask where the bus was and then was told it got changed to another road in NY. With no warning, no phone call. Nothing. The bus ride was extremely bumpy at times uncomfortable. I will most likely never use a bus transportation again. I almost missed my pick up bus to get to my final destination because no one mentioned that this was the last stop until Orlando Florida.

The bus had stains on the floors and crumbs and trash on the seats. The toilet on the bus did not flush. Most of the outlets did not work. The driver got us to our destination ahead of schedule so that was nice. Overall I wish the bus was cleaner!

From NYC to VA I was told a t the last minute where bus was. Bus was in poor conditions inside. There was a really bad smell coming from the bathroom that would not go away. According to the bus driver, the AC was not working. On the way back, bus was cleaner, looks like it was newer, but at first, the driver was driving a bit too hard taking corners rather fast than at the right speeds; that felt uncomfortable. If the seats were more comfortable, the ride would have been better.

It was a quickher ride than posted by 2 hours, clean bathroom and bus and I was able to have Wi-Fi the whole bus ride so I was able to watch Netflix the whole way there while charging my iPad. Great experience. I even felt safer when the bus drivers changed at the mid way point. It gave a level of comfort knowing our drivers wasn't exhausted. My bus driver even bought me a coffee out of kindness.

The driver choose the route of Eastern Shore (Norfolk, VA first and then Hampton, VA) and make it much quicker to all. I think it's a very good idea.

The overall bus ride was good. They just need to work on punctuality. If the bus is supposed to arrive at one time it shouldnt be 1 hr late. Especially when there is no traffick.

The only problem I have is with drivers asking riders to purchase cartons of cigarettes for them. Other then that my last ride was very pleasant.

Smooth quick ride. Got to Norfolk and hour n half early. Only issue was the wifi didn't work and the charger where I was sitting did not work and everyone else's was. Being able to charge my phone and use wifi was the reason I selected the company so I was a little disappointed. None the less it was a good ride.

Because your bus didn't leave on time, and made an extra stop in cherry hill, I missed my train for 8:15pm and had to wait until 11pm to catch the next one. In the transportation industry being punctual is of the upmost importance.

This was my last ride with your company. It was the worst bus ride ever. I am going to contact the fcc. It was so cold on that bus. Where I got on they didn't drop me at. He put me off far away from where I was going. Someone stole my head phones. Men were sleeping on the floor. Somebody was smoking on the bus. I am going to find out how to make sure that this bus gets shut down.

Of course the bathroom was hideous and that's important when you have a toddler Bc the bus doesn't make that much stops. It was very comfortable I guess Bc not many ppl utilized the bus during the thanksgiving holiday.
Leaving Savannah you had a choice of siting wherever you want but leaving nyc there was "assigned seating". I would recommend the bus route but be aware if you're traveling with children.

A horrible experience and the worst ever. Disappointment when the bus was late that I called to inquire, and no one picked up. When they died no one seem to understand my language. The bus drivers do speak English or seem to ignore you. The second driver stopped at rest stop and didn't allow us to use the bathroom. This was a good spot. He got off and used the bathroom himself and purchased his cigarettes. He locked us in the bus. I fell kidnapped. After proceeding, he didn't stop until 10 hrs of driving. No apologies and he looked like he was 18 years old and could speak English, but yet reluctantly ignored us. He never stopped but the last driver did after 10 hrs. I started to call the police. He was the driver who picked up after the one who drove to Lumberton NC. As much money as GO BUS makes, invest in the drivers to enhance customer service skills and language. It will help relate and treat the poor and less advantage better. My family do not desire that I take this bus anymore. I am ashamed to say I am taking this bus. The question of recommendation to a friend is tricky. Most of my friends expect better than the sub-par conditions on this bus. The floors and toilets needed to be cleaned. The door to the bathroom had to be held closed by a gallon of some "who-knows-what" murky liquid. There were no cup holders on the bus, so placing open containers of liquids anywhere was a bit tricky considering the motion on the bus. The seats seemed clean enough but some of the armrest did not work. The driver and office staff seemed amiable so there are no complaints in that area. The bus was on-time and the ride was safe. If the equipment was up-graded this company would have the makings of a travel contender and then I would recommend them without hesitation.

Bathroom on bus was horrible. It needed to be changed before we left New York, but it wasn't. Coming back from NC. we did not make any stops so I was on bus for 10 hours coming home without a bathroom break.

My daughter in disabled with a walker and the arrival location was changed. The staff asked how did i get here,by Access-A-Ride i told her she call the bus driver and he picked us up then went to the other location for the rest of the passengers. That was very thoughtful, we would not have made the bus if we had to go to the other location to get the bus

The bus left at 4:30pm rather than 4:00pm when it was supposed to depart. The bus company waited until more customers boarded and until the bus was almost full before it departed. The bus arrived in Durham, NC at 2:45am despite an estimated arrival of 1:00am. In terms of comfort, the bus was similar to a Greyhound bus and was a little tight given that everyone had someone sitting next to them. The USB ports were useful for charging electronics.

From Richmond to NY and vice versa, the bus arrived at a punctual time. While the first bus to NY got there a bit late, the second bus got back to Richmond got back extremely early on the return trip. Overall, there was ample room for the luggage and the staff was kind, even recommending better places to put the luggage and organizing the luggage. For my trip to NY, the bus temperature was really nice, but it was fairly crowded. I did have a nice nap because it was really cozy and quiet, but the USB cord kept falling from the port on the ceiling of the bus. For my trip back to Richmond, it was less crowded and much more quiet. The USB and plug outlets were below the seat, which is what I'm used to after going on trips to and from NY on previous occasions. However, none of them worked where I was seated. The foot rest mechanism would also not go down, as it was broken or stuck. It was unnaturally warm on that bus to the point where it was too hot. The bathroom light didn't work, and there was no toilet paper, as well. The first bus had a really good bathroom. Haha.
Anyway, despite a little bit of setbacks, I would recommend United Bus and Travel INC to a friend. I always go with my friend to see our best friend in NY sometimes, so it's really easy to organize trips, get tickets, and plan because these buses exist. :D Thank you~!

For the most part everything was good. The only problem I have is when I to get off the van and on the bus I can never sit with my daughter. That's not the responibility of the driver though. For the price I pay I really can't complain. I will say I wish all of the outlets work so we can charge our devices.

It was a pretty good ride. Got there before time and there was a guy who was told he'd get a place in NC that they didn't stop at. I would've thought the bus driver was gonna keep driving. He asked him to drop him off at a Gas Station and we were already on the interstate. The bus driver got off and dropped him off. Kudos to this driver!! The way most of these drivers attitudes are set up I'd think he might've opened the door on the interstate but luckily that wasn't the problem. I also booked my ticket an hour before the bus was set to leave so that was awesome!! 😂 overall, a satisfactory trip. Will be looking into this company again!

Drivers and staff were friendly , I was running a little late and the lady still made sure I caught the bus although it had already left. The only thing that I didn't like was the fact that there was no WiFi . if that was Improved everything would be great. Oh and the bathroom! Light was out.

I arrived at my destination 2 1/2 hours late after multiple unscheduled stops. With a trip that was scheduled to arrive at 12:45 in the morning one would assume that the drivers would be mindful of time but they were not and I was left in a parking lot to wait for my ride at 3 o'clock in the morning.

Ok nice price but u get what u pay for in service and customer service. GO TO BUS is always LATE upon Departure and Arrivals. I'm so sorry to say this Bus service is bad😣. Bus temperature is never right for comfort. Bus drivers communication towards passengers is not understandable. Bus drivers at times is using there cell phone while driving but have Bluetooth but talking for long period of times while driving.there seems to be no respect towards passengers well being except when it times to pay for there service. Bus drivers don't make announcement upon making stops to and from. There is no suggestion as to us on what can be done to provide better service. Please do connexit

The trip was very bad the diver passed my location in manning sc and wanted too take me to Georgia and drop me off, as we argued he said he would get me a hotel room and leave me and give me 40 dollars. what a way too handle a customer who was looking too see there family was dropped off in a town I didnt know and had too call my father to come and pick me up. It was horrible and if anything I deserve my money back cause this isn't what I expected for my 60 dollars very unprofessional and how could you just leave me out in area I'm not familiar with

I would only recommend this bus service because its another means for affordable travel, but the seats are hard and uncomfortable. There are too many stops for drop offs and not in areas where people can take breaks to stretch their legs or relieve their bodies from the sitting down position.

Driver's don't communicate the stops in advance or clearly. The passagers are not given breaks when driver is running late, yet the driver takes breaks and closes bus door to do so. Some drivers drove fast and irratic. Bus stop locations are not safe and well lit areas. Departure location was a misprint in address which led to a close call the n missing a bus that left 15-20 earlier than departure time.

The pick-up and drop-off locations in Richmond and NYC Chinatown were not the cleanest. But the bus stayed on schedule. The only cons were that the driver - while professional - did not come across as friendly. He was also pulled over for speeding. I wished that the seats reclined backwards more too for sleeping on overnight.

Not that it's the fault of the bus company but the buses are kinda cramped not to much leg room and other passengers are not as kind to raise their seats to accommodate the person behind them. The bus is always on time picking up and dropping off, my only concern is he drivers turn around rate. You have drivers that do back to back runs I was on a bus and the driver swerved several times, if possible can there be a backup driver just in case.

my experience with go bus service was not to my satisfaction I book a trip for sept 8,2015 pick up in Hardeeville sc waited 4 hours for bus called customer service to find out that the bus forgot to pick me up it passed Hardeeville. my family had to drive back over an hour to pick me back up from Hardeeville, to bring me back the next day sept 9,2015 a day later. The bus was driven entirely too fast; got to my destination an hour and a half earlier than my ticketed time after making a few stops. Had to wait a half hour in the early morning for my sister to pick us up. Felt like I was in "Speed Racer" or "Fast and Furious", smh. So if you enjoy feeling like your in a video game or on a high speed chase, this ones for you! I thank God that my daughter and I made it safely. Hoping the same on our way back home.

I took the abc bus to south carolina one week ago.The bus is punctual. The stop every 2 + hours so you can use restrooms and get some food to purchase. The drivers drive safely. Every 4 to 5 hours, a new driver took over the driving so you don't have to worry about drivers falling asleep behind the wheel. The price is unbelievable. Let's give them a raise riders. They deserve it. Good job

My only issue with the bus was that all the USB charging stations didn't work, so ppl were asking to use the port where I was sitting. Another issue I had was, my seat did not recline like some of the others, so I was forced to sit up for 7 hours. Other than that, it was a an affordable, safe experience.

The seats had a ton of stains this was a first I travel with these buses often.
We arrived late to New York. The staff was nice. Driver didn't have an attitude he was nice but his driving caused us to be stopped twice by the Police for speeding. The first time was a warning the second time he got a ticket. The Bus had this weird smell it was a first for me.

I got tickets to go to Hampton on GoBus because of convenience and affordability.
I printed out the tickets. The bus stop address was posted on the ticket.
However, that is where the confusion began. It turns out that the address on the ticket wasn't the bus stop but a secondary ticket office and was in a completely different location than the bus stop.
It was very confusing trying to find the correct bus as there were many on Allen Street. We were on several different busses only to find out that they weren't right. There are many different companies that all have different names and schedules. But for a newcomer it is not clear and there is nobody there to explain the system. Finally, however, it worked out in the end because a person from the Allen office realizing that we were quite lost, ended up escorting us over to East Broadway where the bus was waiting in a garage a couple of blocks away. We were grateful for his assistence. I would say that that the Bus Stop location should be clearly indicated on the ticket print out so customers know exactly where to go.

Some bus drivers are professional and some are just off the handle a guy turned on his phone light to find something that fell and the bus driver lost it saying "what the fuck" swings the bus to the side and starts yelling what's the Fuck is wrong with you ? The driver out of Jacksonville was 30 minutes late, and had built up a reputation around the area for being so. There was no 'station', or designated pick up area, only a parking lot with no way to print the itinerary. Luckily, the man accepted the email instead. All of this would be forgivable, if either gotobus or United Bus had support staff on hand. I had to interrogate the folks in the shopping plaza just to find the pick up area. The price is good, and the vehicles are as clean as one could expect though.

Wifi never worked, electric plug either. Bus departure were 45min. late. Taking on consideration buses are never a comfortable option I can recommend to choose wisely this company if you prefer not to have the amenities they falsely advertised. The Drivers were quiet all the time.They just want to do what they were paid to to and that is to drive from point am A to B with no faults. I had no issue with the ride. It was fair and fast. Your bus service is convenient and offers a fair option to other modes of travel. However you advertise a WiFi connection which was not accessible and the power outlets did not work forcing passengers to charge their phones at the few brief rest stops. Additionally your drivers inexperience or supposed inexperience in the english language is a constant cause of miscommunication. As stated above, your bus service provides travelers an option that is more than needed and if the issues with communication, WiFi and power sources can be rectified I'd gladly give you 5 stars across the board.

The bus was about 30-40 minutes late picking up, but we still got to our destination on time. Wifi didn't work but the outlets to charge your phone worked perfectly. It wasn't the cleanest bus ever, but it got me from point A to point B at a reasonable price. I had a seat to myself and watched movies the whole time. I would definitely take the bus again

An 11:30 but is advertised but doesn't seem to exist. One bus came at 12:30...in time for the scheduled 12:30 bus. This has happened on multiple occasions. Other than that, I would recommend it. The bus however did make a stop somewhere in northern Virginia to pick up more passengers (it's supposed to be direct to NY). We didn't get stuck in traffic so I wasn't bothered about it.

Leaving from Richmond to Nyc the bus was dirty. Floors needed to be cleaned. A passenger got sick and driver wasn't concerned with pulling over to get her medical treatment or to see what was wrong, allowed passengers to take over, not good customer service. Going to Nyc the bus was dirty, feet stuck to floor, needs to be washed, seats should have cover where you put your head. Seats didn't adjust unable to sit up. Bus started 1 hr late and arrived to raleigh at 3. 15 am which is 2.15 late of the scheduled time. There was no traffic jam. This could have easily avoided. I usually get 10 pm bus and they are good at punctuality.

I would recommend due to trips being affordable, staff driving carefully.
although staff did not have control of passengers, I had an experience where two gentlemen got into a verbal fight during my trip from SC to NY. Also WiFi and some outlets were out of order, the bathroom was full of graffiti and dirty to the point where I had to hold it until the next rest stop (this is each 4 hours).

Bus NYC-Charlotte left and arrived on time but was FREEZING inside and very noisy. I got little sleep and feared pneumonia. The bus back was cancelled. I was taken to another company 30 minutes dive away and put on an overcorwded bus. The seats and legroom were so small that my whole body hurt especially my knees. It was torture. We had a flat tire and the repair took several hours so we arrived in rush hour traffic about 4 hours LATE making it a 16 hour trip one-way! Also the wifi did not connect to the internet and the electrical sockets did not work. This trip was a nightmare!

I have used these buses several times and unfortunately am very disappointed this is the second time I was not dropped off at the designated locations. Both time I have selected the Concord 1145 Copperfield Blvd, had people waiting to pick me up and been dropped off at two different locations. Riders need to be advised of any changes, that is not right!! The driver refused to drop us off where we were supposed to be.

To whom it may concern.....if you are a customer reading this review, call & make sure your actual destination pick-up or drop off is the same on your itinerary...especially with changes!!! If it's the company reading...yes, we're only human & mistakes happen, but not at your customer's expense...no matter how "discounted" the price is!?! The driver was extremely rude. He would not answer simple questions like who to load the bags as it was my first time using this bus service.

I was very upset that my children and I were separated. Never separate a child from it's mother. I couldn't sleep or get comfortable knowing that my children could be sitting next to someone crazy.

I was sitting at the front but apparently the A/C wasn't working in the back. I take this bus often and it usually takes 16 hours but this time it only took 14 hours! Incredible!

My bus was cancelled 1 hour after I bought my ticket. I requested a refund immediately but have received no reply or refund. I will tell everyone this is a scam & I lost my money. Never again.

The bathroom is horrible and smells so bad. The stench is so strong that as I'm writing this review my face is tucked in my jacket to avoid smelling the bathroom because I'm close to it in the bank. This was my first experience on the bus and I'm truly sick to my stomach because it smells bad.
