It's 2016. I was told I was required to print off the receipt. Really? This needs to stop. It's just another step for patrons to take that can be removed from your process. If I can buy a ticket online, why am I required to print out the ticket? Then you charge $1 to print?

bus never arrived to pickup point - stopped a block away around the corner. power was only on selected seats, many of the seats were broken (didn't adjust) but all in all we'd consider doing it again. probably not for round trip, though.

Overall, I've had good experiences with Gotobus. It's just stressful when you are waiting in Midtown Manhattan and it's not quite clear that you are in the right place. Generally someone shows up at some point and checks though, at that point you can relax a little (unless you are concerned that there might not be enough room on the bus for you then it is helpful if you have booked online)

The bus ride from Albany to NYC was pretty unpleasant due to a bathroom that stunk up the entire bus. Also, the bus shortly broke down in the Lincoln Tunnel!

My principal complaint relates to the extreme "engine noise" experienced --- especially when the bus was travelling at a "cruising speed" (perhaps over 60 mph). I tried sitting near the front of the bus and later near the rear of the bus. In both cases, the sound seemed to be deafening. Unfortunately, I didn't have "earplugs" to help to mitigate it. At low speeds this problem did not seem so obvious. My return trip also on May 31st (9 PM from the area of 888 Sixth Avenue in NYC) seemed to be much more pleasant because I did not experience the extremely loud engine noise of that 7 AM morning trip from Schenectady on the same day. If it were not for this problem, I think that I could recommend your bus service to and from New York City.

The Bus was so cold for 4 hours,Bus was so Dirty bags still hanging, having food from the night before. Candy paper,bottles on the seats. Return trip with another Bus was $12.00. Yours were $25.00 return trip. I also did not go with your Bus to Schenectady,do I get a refund? Thank You

First of all , sorry to say I was displeased even if the fare is twenty dollats. The bus was filthy trash,the stench from the toilet was deplorable, I have vowed never to ride this nasty stinking bus again..the Asian people who are taking your money never have a answer to your questions but always taking the money.im calling the better business bureau. Bathroom is always a problem. No light for one thing. Often tends to get clogged and rather gross by end of day. i have taken a number of trips and this is a common issue. On memorial day last year, no ac with 85 degree weather outside.

In booking this trip I was very disappointed with Capital Bus Tours. The 1/1:30 2:30 and the rest of the buses that was to go this route never showed up. I waited at 888 6th Ave. (Oakwood Building) with other passengers for four hours, tried calling with no help and had to get on a 5pm bus had to buy another ticket with the china bus service at 34 Broadway. To say I rather use Greyhound after this experience would be accurate. I can not get a refund and no I will not recommend Capital Tours to someone. Your bus never showed up, made my trip really bad. The bus smelled like skmeone was smoking in there. There was strong cigarette smoke and alcohol smell in the bus during the trip too but it was hard to see if anyone was doing it with the dark light.

Bus was dirty and they carried a dog on the bus without a cage. I big dog and it wasn't a dog for a blind person. That was a big turnoff to use the bus company again. People using their cellphones all along the trip and talking loudly on their cellphones.

Driver kept on stopping and caused us to hit traffic coming into the Lincoln tunnel bus was over an hour late hopefully next time I can get the dollar fare for megabus

I'd recommend because of the affordability but the bathroom was terribly disgusting. There was graffiti everywhere and cigarette butts were on the toilet. There was a man smoking in the bathroom and the driver nor his assistant did anything of the matter. The bus also got there 25 minutes after its scheduled departure. Besides these things the service is pretty good.

Truly enjoyed my first experience riding with Gotobus. The only complaint I have is that the bathroom smelled awful. Was a smooth trip to and from my destination. Will definitely use them again and recommend to all my family and friends.

On this bus the seats were too close to each other I didn't have enough leg room and I'm 5'3. All of the windows were cloudy/damage and we couldn't see out of them. I did like the curtains and the option to keep them open or closed.

The bus smelled of cigarette smoke on 3 separate occasions. It was not the cleanest of buses. We didn't even feel comfortable putting our heads on the headrest. They looked a bit filthy. The bus driver was a little bit wild, but he got us there safely. Our scheduled arrival time was 3:15 pm and we arrived around 3:45. Not ok. On a more positive note, every seat had outlets, however, there was no wifi. The bus was spacious, so I kept my bag next to me instead of putting it under the bus. We actually opted to have a friend drive us home instead of having to take the bus back home, even though we already bought the tickets. In the end, we got what we paid for, a cheap and easy ride, so I can't be too upset about that.

The staff of this bus company were courteous, organized and professional. The ride was comfortable to and from destinations. One stop shop when planning a trip to your location. Transfers are not needed to reach your selected destination. For amenities, there is one video screen in the front of the bus, but a movie is never played with. 2 USB ports are located above each set of seats for device charging. Cleanliness is good, although a smell of urine was experienced. Sat closer to the front and didn't experience the smell as much. Perhaps of the bathroom door being opened or bathroom not being cleaned. All in all, would take the bus service again, because of the overall experience.
