My return trip from NC to NY time was changed from 1015 to 930 and never received a phone call or notification. I missed my bus and was forced to find another bus company.

this experience was not terrible. a couple of problems. bus came late by almost 45 minutes. line of people waiting was long when bus came everyone was pushing to get in the bus. Y&H bus needs to be more organized. buses do not have signs or name or numbers saying where its going. a guessing game. commute was fast with no stop fro New York to Raleigh NC. Bus was freezing cold no heat on.

I feel that the bathroom should be cleaner and have the proper stuff in like toilet paper and smother to use to clean your hands after you done with using the bathroom plus make a a little more stops if a person wants to get something to eat

A passenger went inside the bathroom and smoked a cigarette. The smell was putrid and enveloped the entire bus within seconds. All that happened was one of the drivers shouted "no smoking" while the passenger was still inside smoking. I felt more needed to be done. He needed to be either fined, kicked out, and at the very least open some windows for us. A lot of us were having difficulty breathing after that for about an hour.

The bus didn't show up and we were put on standby for a second bus arriving 2 hours later with no guarantee of a seat. Fortunately we all got seats, but it still made me late for work the next day, and the communication of the entire situation was very poor.

This bus was awesome because the drivers were proficient and efficient and got me to my destination in a timely manner. However, the late night bus switch in Durham, NC was quite unexpected to go back to Raleigh, NC.

I purchased my tickets weeks in advance to get knocked down by 3 buses that became full due to people who paid same day. Horrible business and if it is going to run like that, then advance tickets should not be available.

I would recommend, but with some hesitations. The amount of disorganization in NYC is not for everyone. A simple fix would be to better label destinations while at Allen St. Bus likely would be *more* on time if NYC was not the destination/origin.

Because when we got their on 11/29/2015 the bus was full, and then the bus driver was not checking the ticket. from the first rout. when it was time to pick my daughter up to go back to new York. we had to wait the next day for a bus to get on.

There should be an office in North Carolina to have people check in, to show there tickets and get seating arrangements instead of people fighting to get on the bus with unassigned seats. Preparation is everything I want my journey coming home add pleasant add the one going. I am willing to assist in this matter before things become dangerous.

This bus is violating our rules. Bus leaving Florence SC 8:30PM, Friday, Dec 29 FROM, 2015 west Lucas, had not yet allowed us passengers to stop at any rest stop. It's already 10 hrs. I'm calling the police if he doesn't stop. The driver is not responding to us. He is ignoring our pleas to stop. I feel we are being kidnapped. My worst ending of a vacation in my life. NEVER AGAIN

The bus was an hour and a half late and there is no one to call if something like that happens your system needs some tweaking and you need better customer service not satisfied but I have to say this bus was better than the one I had when I left

The seats were comfortable enough and the driver did an excellent job with the 8 hr. overnight trip. It would have been fine except for a horrible smell coming from the bathroom. That, along with to much heat turned on made for a very stuffy and nauseating experience

The bus was around 20-2 minutes late and we were standing out in the cold. It wasn't too bad because it hasn't got very cold yet, but if this happens to others in the winter that would be awful. Also, the bus driver was quite loud and crude, which was disturbing when we were trying to sleep

The bus was 2 hours late. When I called for information, first no answer and when I did get someone, I was told me the bus would be at the location in 20 minutes. She said the traffic getting to the location is bad. What I'm more upset about is I have a return ticket with this lousy bad company. They could have people at the site, I understand it is a gas station, but representative, only a phone number that you call constantly and you may get someone on the phone.

We arrived 4hrs late!! to Manhattan. The driver gave no real information to the passengers, though he was very nice. I was never told that I would be riding for 5hrs of the trip in an airport shuttle-type "bus." Whoa. There seemed to be no scheduled stops on the 14 hour trip from Nashville to NYC, and from NYC to Nashville.

I haven't ridden any of the other bus companies other than Greyhound. The lady at the ticket counter was not friendly at all. The driver wasn't as horrible. Luckily it wasn't a packed bus. It was comfortable since I had the seat next to me free, otherwise it would have been very cramped and uncomfortable. The seats were a little worn, but the cushions were adequate. I would maybe try another one, but they might not be any better. Deal or no deal!

I was not contacted with the information that the company from which I bought a ticket stopped service, so I found out after making several calls that both time and place of departure had changed. The new carrier also almost did not honor my ticket. They are also quite rude. It was very unsettling.

The bus was supposed to leave at 7:30. When the bus arrived and we lined up to get on, all of a sudden one of the staff members yelled at us from getting on. He said the bus was now being recommissioned to replace a bus that had broken down on its way to Atlanta. I asked when my 7:30 bits would be there and be kept redirecting me inside.

Terrible. Bus was late, no assigned seating so there was a struggle to get on. Bus was muggy and the stagnant air never got better. Rest room was gross and there was no toilet paper. The bus didn't leave on time and also was late at arrival for almost an hour! I booked it thinking that I would arrive at 7:15am in Cincinnati, but I arrived at 8:20am! There was really no traffic jam or whatsoever that caused the delay, I believe that the pick up times and stopovers are too long which subsequently caused the delay. I hope that they properly manage their actual travel times and that it should be coherent with their promised times.

I was never called when my bus left earlier than presumed. I was a bit aggravated because I was told to catch up he next bus the following day. Two of the three drivers spent time talking loudly on the phone, which not only disturbed those trying to sleep, but is also unsafe and probably illegal. It would be good to give drivers some training so they can clearly, slowly and accurately pronounce place names, rest stop announcements etc. There was no toilet paper when I used the facility.

This was punctual, but this was my second ticket I purchased that day, because the first bus was scheduled to pick up at 7:30 pm at the Glenwood location in Charlotte NC, and was at the station at 6.00 pm. I was not ready for that change. Somebody alerted me by text message just one hour before. Now, after to call hundreds of times, a representative told me that there is no refund of my money. I'm so disappointed. I don't think I will ride these buses ever.

I traveled in GotoBus from New York to Georgia, I liked it very much because the drivers were friendly and attentive while driving. The only thing that i and other customers were not to happy with was the restroom as it doesn't had sanitizer and tissue paper for cleanliness after the restroom. Also for cleanliness purposes and in order for people continue traveling in Goto in future, I would recommend you install small water sinks in side restrooms in your buses. Best Regards - Hameed.

WORST bus service I can ever see in USA. Not punctual they did make changes to the timing in the last minute. Worssst experience with this bus service. I would never travel again even if you give free tickets.

The only complaints I have are about the false advertising for Y&H's arrival time and amenities. I have yet to ride on an Y&H bus that arrives at 7:00 am, its listed arrival time in GoToBus scheduling. Nor has a single Y&H bus had the advertised WiFi. This is unfortunate, because otherwise Y&H has offered a positive experience for my last few uses. It has arrived consistently around 8:15-8:20 am in NYC, which is earlier than other scheduled arrival and perfect for me. It has working power sources for phones. Its seats are relatively comfortable. Its crew are friendly and competent. I wish GoToBus would just advertise arrival at 8 to 8:30 with no wifi. I would still happily use Y&H due to its cheaper prices, discounts and reliable service. I just want honest advertising.

The cleanliness of the return trip from New York to Columbus was much better, as was the punctuality. The bus departed and arrived on time. The staff was still nice and friendly. But once again, the bus was very difficult to sleep on, as I expected. Power outlets and Wifi were both advertised, but there was neither. USB ports were available for charging devices that were compatible with USB, but that didn't help me because I don't use a smartphone. I needed a standard power outlet to plug in my phone. On this trip it was necessary for me to turn off my cell phone to prevent it from completely dying after using it all day in New York. I did not turn it back on until close to arrival in Columbus. This meant that I had no means of contacting my family overnight from the bus.

There was liquid spilled all over toward the back. I was just hoping it wasn't urine from the bathroom. The bus was 17 minutes late for arriving at the departure location in Columbus, and 1 hour and 45 minutes late at arrival in New York. The staff was nice and friendly. The bus was very difficult to sleep on, as I expected. Power outlets and Wifi were both advertised, but there was neither. The ride was fine I just assumed the arrival time was 5:00 am as the ticket stated therefore I made pickup arrangements with a friend and we didn't arrive until 2 plus hours later which was an inconvenience because I had to find another way to get to my destination and paid out of pocket fees that would have cost me a round trip ticket to and from the place I just left. I didn't expect to pay more money had I known I would have chosen a flight which would have equalled the same amount and less traveling time.

Y and H was scheduled to show up to New York City at 7:00. I specifically took this bus so that I could arrive on time for a meeting at 9:30 and have a time cushion in case of traffic or accidents. The bus did not arrive at its stop in NYC until 9:20, nearly two and a half hours late. As a consequence, I was late to this meeting. This worries me greatly, as I intend to use this service with the intent to arrive at my place of need by 9:30 nearly every Monday for the next four months. I am further worried because I have to arrive at 9:00, thirty minutes earlier, as of January and lasting for four months. I am extremely unhappy with the precedent this sets. Additionally, the bus is relatively uncomfortable and did not offer the WiFi services showed on the GoToBus description. I will try the service again out of necessity, but I really hope it improves significantly.

The bus is a great inexpensive choice for those who don't want to fly, but the bus patrons are sometimes sketchy. Nonetheless, it arrived to New York before time, allowing more time in the city. I just wish the bus bathrooms were cleaner and had hand sanitizer.

bus 717 was 85 degrees. toilet out of order. driver late, passengers standing in the rain. recharged another $40. because y'all don't give enough info, like the number of the bus if one has made a res. and one of the employees in the manhattan office was rude and disrespectful. and the other woman resolved the problem. 99.9% passengers were black, with that degree of support, y'all need to provide better service. for first timers, reduce the confusion, and make your toilets flush. stink up the whole bus.

Bus was early at NYC. Everyone was loaded on and on road by ten past. I got to my final destination 30 mins before eta. Having recently experienced megabus which made frequent stops which caused great delay given the bus was 2 hours late to begin with. Thus this experience was a welcome positive one

The bus experience wasn't that bad. I mean, it is what it is. As far as bus cleanliness, I was a little disappointed. The restroom did not have hand sanitizers or liquid hand soap. I was really disgusted when people came out of the restroom. Also, my bus departure was for 7 and the bus to orlando didn't come till after 8. As far as punctuality is concern, obviously it wasn't thr best.

The bus experience leaving New York and going to Columbus, Ohio was much better. We arrived at the bus station about 8:20pm. Thank goodness we had a station to wait in. It was raining that evening and it was good to wait inside. In Columbus, Ohio there was no station and we would have gotten wet. There was only one restroom working at the station. The men had to use the women's restroom also. The toilet must have flooded. There was water all over the floor and it looked like fences on the floor and toilet paper. There wasn't any soap in the restroom. The bus arrived about 9:40pm. We left right about 10:00pm promtly. There still wasn't any toilet paper on the bus. We arrived to Columbus, Ohio early about 730am. This experience was must better than waiting on the bus going to New York.

if there was maybe above i would tick it, but choosing between yes and no, it has to be no. The advertisement is false. We were promised wifi and the bus had none and we were lied to. At the beginning of the journey i asked the female worker and she said in a little while. As the bus traveled long w noted that we could not access any service as promised. I got up and went to the driver who said it was not working because it was broken. I was a long and boring ride for my two children who complained that they never want to ride that bus again. They have serious communication barrier. The need at least one person who comprehend english and can speak it fluently. that would make the service better. I will be travelling back and fro next week and i am thinking of using the service

I would recommend due to cost only. The driver was very late coming and going. The bus over was over booked going up and ppl who paid for tickets had no seats. The restroom was stinky, no toilet paper. And the drivers didn't speak any English, which made it very hard to communicate for breaks and destinations

I would take the Goto bus again. It was convenient. The bus came on time and we left the terminal on time. It was comfortable to sleep in. The price for a ticket was very affordable. But, the bus's bathroom was not clean and smelled whenever the door was open. We were 3 1/2hours late arriving in Louisville since the bus engine stopped functioning and we had to stop on the highway. Thankfully, the staff fixed it and we drove on.

There was a problem on the return trip where they didn't want to let me on the bus,saying there weren't enough seats, even though I had bought my ticket well in advance. Eventually let me on, but not without much yelling. Was very stressful, and language barrier did not help. Would only recommend due to price and punctuality.

The bus arrived about 12 minutes late. The bus driver was super nice. The bus reeked of piss from the restroom my entire trip. That was difficult to stomach but overall I made it to New Yerkba whole one hour early. Everything balances out.

i would recommend this bus going east to west, BUT ONLY IN AN EMERGENCY!! otherwise overpriced when compared to megabus and all of their comforts and amenities, cleanliness, space..etc

I had an emergency and called to see if i can reschedule and they didn't let me so i lost my ticket in the amount of $50 that isn't fair cause I called with enough time I always use this bus at least twice or three times but after this time I think I'm not using this company no more

The seats are too close, i barely have enough space for me to get in my seat because the front seat is in reclination position.the space between front and back seats are too tight. There are no outlets to charge phones.
