It's a great deal so there's not much to complain about.

I've taken Phuong Thao Express twice. The first time they left ten minutes late, which wasn't a big deal. However at the point when they needed to switch drivers, a 20-minute break became nearly a one hour break. This delay cause us to arrive in L.A. more in traffic time almost 2 hours after the scheduled arrival time. I felt that the arrival estimates provided by the driver were way off too. I understand there was traffic, but at one point on the highway, he said we were 10 minutes away, which I was skeptical about. There wasn't much traffic at that point, but it took about 15 minutes just to get off the highway and another 10-15 to drive through the local streets. I wish the driver gave a more realistic time estimate. The wi-fi was unreliable compared to Hoang Express. The bus itself didn't have a tray to put food, netting behind the seat to place small items, or a place to put a water bottle--things I've seen on Hoang Express. I decided to give this bus another chance. The second time, the bus still didn't have the amenities listed above that I hoped for. In addition, there were no seat belts. I feel like this is more a requirement than an amenity. Soon after the bus left, it started making strange sounds and the driver stopped to call someone to see about fixing it. He said all the gauges dropped to 0. I'm not sure what the person on the other end of the line said, but after the call, the driver resumed the trip, only to stop again shortly after. This time, he was able to stop the noise, but it didn't give me a lot of confidence for my safety at that point. Overall, I would prefer not to take this bus. Their prices should be cheaper than Hoang Express because their bus service is not up to par from what I've seen.

I was the only one who didn't receive a sandwich because they were short. Therefore, I was left starving the entire trip from San Jose to Los Angeles. Not fair.

The bus is newer have more amnieties than Hoang express. The staff is more friendly. Though they know less English. Boarding process more streamlined with a person sitting in front of the bus door collecting payment or confirmation than directing luggage. Bus stuck to schedule at departure but allows just enough leeway for those to get on. No unexpected in between trip bus changes as often done with Hoang express. There was just four issues I noticed with the trip today. The bus is not equipped with electrical outlets contrary to its ad, the staff forgot to include napkins with the meals, the bus broke down at the coalinga rest stop but was fixed quickly, the toilet smells very bad I guess the toilet was not dumped for quite a while. Though overall the trip was completed within 7 hours despite the break down so the experience was overall good. Though if those issues are fixed I will gladly give them all five star ratings.

I am a student at sjsu and a travel down to orange county reguarly. We left San Jose on time at 8 in the morning. Staff was really friendly. We were given lunch, snacks, and water. We was suppose to arrive at 230pm but due to the flood, most routes were closed off. We didnt arrive until 815pm. I was not happy to be on a bus for 12 hours and missing my appointment. However, I am not going to blame the company and driver. The driver drove for 12 hours and got us to our destination. I thanked him after the ride. Some people on the bus looked annoyed, I was too, but I kept calm because it wasnt the company's fault for a natural disaster. These types of situations happen. I will go on the phoung Thao Express again.

Bus departed and arrived on time. Bus staff very helpful. Fare is great value to include a good sandwich for lunch. Highly recommended for Bay Area to LA.

This was my first time. The bus was on time leaving and arriving. It was a comfortable ride. I was able to work on my computer the whole way thanks to the power outlet. No wifi though.

It was an ok experience. No wifi on-board and it was kind of hard to communicate with the bus driver since the bus seemed full when they arrived, even though I had a printed ticket.

Punctual, great service and driver. Vietnamese show, Paris By Night, was playing half the time. Would've been more enjoyable for myself if it was more quiet

My boys didn't understand what the bus driver said. He doesn't speak English, and my younger one went to use bathroom and the bus driver almost left without him!! Then he skipped the San Gabriel stop, and the boys tried to tell him where they need to get off, he said Long Beach. He has to be aware that the boys don't speak Vietnamese, but didn't communicate. In several attempts the boys were asking him when they will be able to arrive at the San Gabriel stop after dropping everyone off at Little Saigon market. The driver said he need to deliver a piano, so he doesn't know if he's going back to that stop. My parents had to drive from the San Gabriel stop to Little Saigon to find the boys who were basically dumped by the driver due to his own convenience. It's a horrible experience for us to use Phoung Thao express, it's not for non-Vietnamese riders!

For the price and the service. I got nothing to say. Best so far

Overall a pleasant ride. Nice of them to offer sandwiches and drinks. Awesome!! Definitely riding again soon.

There was no wifi in the bus.. The power outlet on the back of the seats are not working.. The meal given was something Chinese and I dont really know what meat it is made of.. Everything else is perfectly fine.. Bus not time, but acceptable..

Trip was very good and fast, I would suggest to take this trip.
