The name Sausalito is Spanish for “little willow”, is located just north of the Golden Gate Bridge. It is a small seaside village of 2.5 miles, consisting of 7,500 residents and is made up of Mediterranean style and charm. The village was incorporated in 1893, and named by the 18th century Spanish explorers who found an abundance of the little willow trees on the banks of its streams.
