Day 1 : Hometown - Vancouver

Today, you’ll arrive at the Vancouver airport. Once you’ve collected your luggage, an escort will greet you at baggage claim belt #3 (for domestic arrivals) or the visitor counter (for international flights). A complimentary half-day city tour of Chinatown, downtown Vancouver, and Stanley Park will be arranged for guests that arrive in Vancouver before noon (12:00pm), with a bonus mini ferry ride on the beautiful False Creek (False Creek Ferries availability depends on the weather; closed on December 25, 26).

Day 2 : Vancouver Island - B.C.Ferries - Victoria - Butchart Gardens

Depart for British Columbia’s charming capital city, Victoria, by ferry* and enjoy the spectacular scenery en route. After landing, visit Victoria's historic Chinatown, and then see Beacon Hill Park's remarkable Mile "0” landmark, the British Columbia Legislative Buildings, and explore other significant heritage architecture surrounding the Inner Harbor. Finish the day with a stop at the world famous Butchart Gardens* before returning to Vancouver.

Day 3 : Vancouver - Kelowna - Okanagan - Winery - Salmon Arm

We will start our journey via the Trans-Canada highway, heading east for Kelowna, in the heart of the Okanagan Valley. A variety of fruit orchards such as cherries and peaches color this area. Stop at a renowned winery to learn about the basics of wine making*, and enjoy a wine tasting of popular ice wine, red and white wines which are available for purchase. At Lake Okanagan, we’ll hear about its legendary story and hunt for the lake monster "Ogopogo” before settling down at our hotel for the evening.

Day 4 : Salmon Arm - Emerald Lake - Banff - Canmore

We’ll proceed to the Eagle Pass in the morning and visit the "Last Spike" of the transcontinental railway where it connects eastern Canada to western Canada. Travel through the scenic Rogers Pass to the glowing jade waters of Emerald Lake. After a thrilling gondola ride* to the summit of the Rocky Mountains, you will be captivated by the sheer majesty of those snowcapped peaks. Next, discover the town of Banff and Bow Falls within Banff National Park, one of the country's earliest established national parks. We’ll end the day in the region that played host to the 1988 Winter Olympic Games in the town of Canmore (alternatively, guests may select to stay in Banff and upgrade to Banff International hotel, or upgrade to the Chateau Lake Louise to be transferred there by dusk).

Day 5 : Lake Louise - Jasper Natl Park - Icefield - Peyto Lake - Golden

The panoramic view of magnificent snow-capped mountains surrounding the emerald color of Lake Louise attracts millions of visitors worldwide. Enjoy an atmospheric lunch at Chateau Lake Louise (on the meal plan), followed by a promenade along the stunningly beautiful lakeshore. Next, we’ll head out to Jasper National Park's Columbia Icefield, where we’ll experience the specially designed "Snowcoach Ice Explorer"* which will take us to the frozen brink of the Athabasca Glacier. After brief stops at Peyto Lake, Bow Lake and Crowfoot Glacier, we will stay overnight in Golden.

Day 6 : Kamloops - Ginseng Factory - Vancouver

We’ll head west through the interior in the morning, arriving at Kamloops, which receives over 2000 hours of sunshine per year. We will join a tour of a popular local Ginseng factory and learn about Ginseng's legendary healing powers. Then we’ll continue our return drive to Vancouver, where we’ll arrive in the late afternoon/early evening for a transfer to Vancouver Airport. Please arrange your return flight leave Vancouver Airport after 9:30pm.
