New York - New Haven - Mystic - Newport - Boston
Depart from Manhattan in the morning for the tree lined campus of Yale University, the renowned ivy-league institution. After exploring the beautiful school grounds, the tour continues to Mystic, Connecticut. Passing through Old Mystic Village, a collection of shops and restaurants in American colonial setting, we will have the opportunity to stop at Mystic Aquarium (optional). The aquarium is a world class science research center, and is home to over 12,000 fishes, invertebrates, and marine mammals from around the world.
We will then proceed to Newport, Rhode Island, crossing the famous Newport Bridge to visit the Breaker Mansion. At Breaker Mansion, visitors can experience the past wealth of America's Gilded Age. Built for Cornelius Vanderbilt, the vast 11-acre estate features entire rooms that were crafted in Europe and shipped to America, as well as prized examples of Renaissance art.
The tour arrives in Boston in the evening, where we will have the opportunity to visit Quincy Market. Situated between Boston's financial district, the waterfront, North End, Government Center and Haymarket, the vibrant Quincy Market is America's oldest gathering place. Quincy Market also features Boston's most famous and delicious export - the lobster, that visitors are encouraged to taste.
Upon the conclusion of the tour, visitors will board a coach bus (Fung Wah or Lucky Star) to return to Manhattan.
