DAY1 Home - New York City( Night Tour) (Free Airport Pick Up)

The tour begins with your arrival in New York City, the most populous city in the United States, where our tour guide will meet you directly at the airport (JFK / LGA / EWR) to transfer you aboard our scheduled group shuttles to the hotel (check-in after 3PM).

Tonight, enjoy a special night tour* (arrival must be before 5:00pm) which will explore notable areas such as South Street Seaport, which offers romantic views of the City's bridges and skyline; the City's central business district, where we’ll visit Rockefeller Center, a complex that houses the magnificent ice skating rink (in winter), the gilded statue of Prometheus, and the GE Building, headquarters of NBC Studios; and Fifth Avenue, a street lined with so many luxury shops and businesses that is frequently called the “most expensive street in the world.” Finally, we will visit Times Square, an iconic crossroads of the city, where many colorful neon and LED signs light up the night sky.

1. Pick-up service from JFK, LGA and EWR airports. For the best service, please choose EWR (Newark Liberty International Airport).
2. NYC night tour available only for arrivals before 5 PM for an additional $25 fee (optional).

DAY2 New York City Tour ( Full Day)

Today’s full day tour of New York City will begin at Ground Zero, site of the tragic events of September 11, 2001, and then move on to nearby Wall Street and the heart of city’s the financial district as well as Chinatown, the largest Asian community in the United States. Next, on a waterway cruise* around New York City harbor, we’ll view the city’s magnificent skyline and sights including the busy South Street Seaport, the Statue of Liberty, and the Brooklyn Bridge. We will visit Rockefeller Center, home to NBC Studios, and the surrounding shopping district along Fifth Avenue, mecca of the fashion industry and luxury brand retail stores. And no tour of New York City would complete without a trip to the top of the Empire State Building*, where on the 86th floor, 1,050 feet above the city's bustling streets, the observatory offers panoramic views from within a glass enclosed pavilion. Additional visits will include the newly transformed USS Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum*, the glorious Metropolitan Museum of Art*, which contains many of the most famous works of art in the world, and finally, the United Nations, a gathering place for 192 countries to meet and discuss important issues of the world.

DAY3 New York - Philadelphia - Washington D.C.

We’ll depart from NYC in the morning to walk along the historical cobblestone streets of Philadelphia’s Independence Mall State Park, where we’ll see the Liberty Bell in its newly renovated home at the Liberty Bell Center, as well as Independence Hall and Congress Hall, birthplace of both the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. Moving on to Washington D.C., we’ll visit Capitol Hill and the White House, home to the U.S. Senate and the House of Representatives as well as the President of the United States; the National Air and Space Museum, which houses the largest of historic air and spacecraft in the world, and the stately white marble Lincoln and Jefferson Memorials which honor these notable past presidents. Next we’ll pay tribute to more modern heroes at the Vietnam and Korean War Veterans Memorials, both simple and moving monuments to men who sacrificed their lives for their country.

DAY4 Washington D.C. - Hershey's Chocolate World - Corning Glass Center - Niagara Falls

Hershey's Chocolate World, with its marketplace, shops and restaurants sweetly beckons our tour this morning. Once here you can take the chocolate tour, offering views of the chocolate making process, view a spectacular 3-D Show,*and/or participate in special chocolate tastings. Later, continuing on our way north, we’ll make a special stop at the Corning Glass Center*, a showcase and museum for the art and science of glassmaking. Here you will witness first-hand how craftsman and artisans work superheated glass into beautiful decorative pieces; at the conclusion of our visit, you will have the opportunity to purchase these unique items for yourself or a loved one in the Center’s wonderful gift shop. Afterwards, the tour will head to Niagara Falls to enjoy its beautiful night views. In what’s now a 140-year-old tradition, every evening the Falls are illuminated in changing colors of the rainbow.

DAY5 Niagara Falls - Boston

Today we’ll truly experience Niagara Falls in its full fury and majesty—as the most powerful waterfall in North America, an average of 4 million cubic feet of water falls over the crest every minute. First, at the IMAX Niagara Falls* “The Falls Movie: Legends and Daredevils,” we’ll see and hear the unforgettable stories of the courageous few who have dared the waters of the powerful Falls. Next, we’ll take a thrilling boat ride aboard the world-famous Maid of the Mist* which offers up close and exciting views of the Falls (seasonal). The tour then proceeds to in Boston in the evening, where we will have the opportunity to visit downtown Boston and Quincy Market. Situated between Boston's Financial District, the Waterfront, North End, Government Center and Haymarket, the vibrant Quincy Market is one of America's oldest gathering places. You will also have a chance to sample some delicious lobster*, a Boston favorite, during dinner.

DAY6 Boston - Rhode Island - Boston

We will take a city tour of Boston in the morning, beginning with the campuses of Harvard University and MIT, two of the most prestigious places of higher learning in the world. The tour will continue to Boston Common, a 50 acre park in the heart of the city and the oldest park in the United States; Trinity Church with its beautiful interior that features over 21,500 square feet of murals and stained glass windows; and the glass-covered John Hancock Tower, the tallest structure in Boston. Season and weather permitting, we will take a harbor cruise* to observe Boston's working port and examples of extravagant waterfront living. Next it’s on to yachting hotspot Newport, Rhode Island, where we will visit the Breakers Mansion*, the opulent former summer home of Cornelius Vanderbilt II that was built at a cost of approximately $150 million in today's dollars. As we make our way back to Boston, we’ll stop to visit the Mayflower II, a replica of the original vessel that carried the Pilgrims on their harrowing journey from England to America to escape persecution in the 17th Century, and Plymouth Rock, traditionally celebrated as the site where they landed. Our tour returns to Boston in the evening.

DAY7 Boston - Home or Boston - New Haven - NYC - Home

In the morning, we will tour the USS Constitution, the world's oldest commissioned warship afloat, which will be narrated by an active-duty member of the U.S. Navy. We will also visit the nearby WWII destroyer, the USS Cassin Young, which was active in the Pacific arena during the war. (Passengers who choose to finish the tour in Boston will not visit Yale University.) After lunch, we will visit the beautiful campus of Yale University in New Haven, CT. A member of the Ivy League, it has produced famous alumni such as Presidents William Howard Taft, Gerald Ford, George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton and George W. Bush. We will then make our way to New York, where, time permitting, we will tour the eclectic SoHo, Chinatown, and Little Italy neighborhoods. Our tour will conclude in the afternoon, when we will transfer you to an NYC area airport for your return flight home.

For people departure from Boston, Please book the flight after 1:30pm. The tour will be at the Logan airport at around 11:45am.

For the NYC airport, please book the flight after 7:00 PM. The tour will be at the airport at around 5:00pm.

If you need extra night hotel accommodations, you can book the hotel near JFK, LGA or EWR with free airport shuttle service.

Flight arrangement: There are still travel activities on the last day of the tour, please schedule flights to depart from Boston after 1:30pm or New York after 7pm.

Airport greet and meet: Your tour escort will be wearing a yellow uniform and holding a sign with your name. Domestic arrivals, your tour escort will wait at the baggage claim area/outside of the arrival's (restricted) area. International arrivals, your tour escort will wait just outside of customs exit.

Language: All tours are escorted by professional bi- or multi-lingual tour and/or driver guides (English/Chinese). Depending on the number of passengers booked for a particular departure, tours and/or languages may be combined to operate the tours.

Redemption

Complete Operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your e-ticket. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

Booking changes
A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply.

Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to Taketours by email or through web mail at Contact Us .

Cancellation penalties per person for 1-4 days tours

15-30 days prior to departure - 10% of total purchase amount.
7-14 days prior to departure - 25% of total purchase amount.
4-6 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
Within 3 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a schedule trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every efforts to maintain the normal operation.
There is 6% handling fee add-on to the above penalties.

Up to 46 days prior to departure - 10% of total purchase amount.
21-45 days prior to departure - 25% of total purchase amount.
8-20 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.

Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.

NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of tour.

Itinerary Variations
We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.

Tour Cancellation:
We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, Taketours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.

1	What is the "Buy 2 Get 3rd Free" policy?

We currently offer Buy 2 Free 3rd Free discount and the Triple Occupancy* rate has been adjusted to reflect this discount. *Total cost of a Double Occupancy is same as the total cost of a Triple Occupancy.

2	May I have the hotel accommodation details for this tour?

The itinerary/details page of the tour will have information about the level of hotel. Most hotels are around 2 stars (local tours) and 3-4 stats (5+ days vacation packages) and you may get the exact hotel details while reconfirming your tour.

3	Where will we have meals in this tour?

Meals are NOT included in the tour price but our tour guide will arrange meal stops. Normally we stop at a plaza to have some fast food, or stop at a restaurant and passengers can order.

4	Where are the pick-up locations of tours?

Departure information, including time and location, is listed in the “Departure And Return Details” section of the tour itinerary. There is often a link to a map as well. Every e-ticket includes full pick-up time and location information. Please print out your e-Ticket and bring your ID to board the bus.

5	Can I pay this tour by cash?

No. Gotobus is a complete online travel company and uses a completely secure and automated booking system, therefore we can only accept bookings made online, using an authorized and valid credit card, check (by fax or mail) and money order (by mail).

6	What does the Lodging pull-down menu mean?

This is where you select how many people will be in your room. Double occupancy for hotel room is only guaranteed with a tour purchase by two persons. Single room is only for one person and price is higher. Family triple arrangements can be purchased with three tickets. Family quad arrangements can be purchased with four tickets.

7	How to select and pay the optional admission fee?

It should be paid upon arrival. Please bring cash for optional admission fees, meals, as well as tips to tour guide.

8	Do I need to pick up a physical ticket?

No. You do not. E-Ticket will be automatically emailed to you after you complete your booking online. All you need to do is to bring a valid picture ID along with a printout of eTicket you receive to board the scheduled bus.

9	Why can’t I find the tour date I want in this tour?

We only post available dates in our website. If you can't find date before last showed date in the tour, it means no service available. Also, we currently accept 60-90 for tours days advance bookings for tour service; if the date you want is outside this range, please bookmark the schedule page, as product updates occur every day.

10	Can I change my seats on the bus?

Seats are allotted on first book first served basis, we can make special arrangement if you can produce doctor's note etc.

11	Can you send me a brochure for this tour?

You will find an electronic brochure for each tour on our website describing all activities and itineraries. Printed brochures are not available. If you do not find adequate information about a tour on our website, please contact our online help. Contact customer support
