DAY1 Los Angeles - Zion National Park - Bryce Canyon

Today we depart at 7:00 am, passing through the San Bernardino Forest and the Mojave Desert on our way into Nevada, continuing through Arizona, and passing the Virgin River Gorge as we cross over into Utah. It’s a long trip, but the rising hills and mountains, the miles and miles of brush vegetation and desert, and the interesting wildlife we’ll see along the way will make it a fun adventure in America’s Wild West. When we arrive at Zion National Park around 12:30pm, we will tour Zion Canyon, which is known for its immense red sandstone walls, as well as many buttes, monoliths, rivers, and natural arches. We will also see the park’s incredible diversity of wildlife, situated at the intersection of four different life zones. Next we will travel two hours to Bryce Canyon National Park, where we will spend the night.

DAY2 Bryce Canyon - Lake Powell - Las Vegas

Today we will tour Bryce Canyon National Park and see the red, orange, and white geological structures, called “hoodoos,” which make up Bryce Canyon (which is actually not a canyon but a natural amphitheater). At an elevation of 8,000 feet you will experience a wonderful view of this forest of rocks created by millions of years of wind, water, and ice erosion. Next we’ll drive for 5.5 hours to see the Glen Canyon Dam, which was constructed over the Colorado River, creating Lake Powell, the second largest artificial lake in the country. Join us on a cruise of Lake Powell,* which will take us through the winding gorges of Glen Canyon. From here we will travel for eight hours into Nevada to spend the night in Las Vegas, the gambling capital of America. DAY3 Las Vegas - Chocolate Factory - Lenwood - Los Angeles

Today we will depart for Los Angeles, stopping at the Ethel M Chocolate Factory and its Botanical Cactus Gardens in Nevada, which are open to the public. In the factory we will learn how this company produces their chocolate and visit their branch of M&M’s World, as well as tour the gardens, which display many fascinating varieties of cacti that will complete your trip through the deserts of Nevada! We will also stop after three hours in Lenwood, California at Lenwood Outlets to enjoy great discounts on popular brand names. Then we will continue on our way to Los Angeles, where we will arrive two hours later, in the evening.
