Edison, NJ; Flushing, NY; New York, NY; Philadelphia, PA
Highlights: 2-night hotel, round trip transportation and free night tour at Niagara Falls. Visit: Philadelphia (Independence Hall, Liberty Bell), Wahsington DC(Smithsonian Institution, Lincoln Memorial, White House), Niagara Falls and more.
Optional: Maid of the Mist is avaliable (April,2010), Cave of the Wind is OPEN NOW, Niagara Falls IMAX movie and more...
Depart from NYC in the morning to walk along the historical cobblestone streets along Independence Mall State Park. See the now silent Liberty Bell echoing history in its newly renovated home at the Liberty Bell Center. Stroll through the centuries old Independence Hall and Congress Hall, the foundation for modern democracy and the birthplace of both the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. From Philadelphia, we continue to explore America's modern day history in Washington D.C. by touring Capitol Hill, the Senate Building and the White House. We will also visit the Natural History Museum (optional), the Air and Space Museumbefore heading to the Lincoln, Jefferson, and Vietnam Memorials. We will also tour the Korean War Veterans Memorial.
Day 2
Washington D.C. - Corning Glass Center - Niagara Falls:
From Washington D.C., we head to Corning Glass Center, a showcase for the entire process of glassmaking. You will witness firsthand craftsman and artisans handily working superheated glass into delicate decorative pieces. At the conclusion of the tour, you will have the opportunity to purchase an artistic piece for yourself. Afterwards, we depart for American portion of Niagara Falls, to see the majestic views of nature up close. It is important to note that no one has ever dared to conquer the American Falls in a barrel- all daredevils have concentrated on the Canadian Falls due to its larger water flow and fewer dangerous rocks.
Day 3
Niagara Falls - New York City:
We continue our sightseeing in Niagara Falls - consisting of the Horseshoe Falls, the American Falls, and the Bridal Veil Falls. We may also take a boat-ride on the Maid of the Mist (seasonal) where you can "soak" in the excitement and power of the Falls. You are sure to take home souvenir photos and videos for family and friends back home of the spectacular views. We will also head to the IMAX Theatre Niagara Falls (optional) where you can become a daredevil, witness Niagara Falls' incredible stories, and see the most complete collection of barrels that have fallen down the mighty Falls. The tour then departs for New York City for an evening arrival.

Me and my family generally liked the tour. However more time should be given at Niagara Falls. The tour party missed the Cave of the Winds because the counter closed before the tour guide could buy the tickets. These should be procured in advance and proper planning should be done to take care of tourist rush seasons. One will normally not make such visits a second time, so we really missed out on one opportunity. The tour guide, she was very nice and helpful, however your company needs to ensure that their spoken English is acceptable.

King was very co-operative and humorous. He kept the spirit alive for all 3 days. The hotels booked were also pretty good for the price paid. We almost covered 7 states in 3 days(22nd April to 24th April). Everything was on time and that was the most important thing. We never got delayed for any of the destinations and covered all places which are mentioned in the itinerary. Really enjoyed this tour - would have like more time at Niagara Falls. Would cut out the Corning Glass visit to spend more time at Niagara. We had a great tour guide (Jason). I would recommend this tour if you are short of time - you get to see plenty of Washington DC - it was great.
