Day 1 : San Francisco - Yosemite - Valley Sights Tour:

We offer pick up service from any hotel in the downtown San Francisco area between 6:15am and 6:45am.  Our motor coach will leave San Francisco by 7:00am, going through the San Joaquin Valley with a brief rest stop at around 10:30am.  We’ll arrive at Yosemite National Park just after noontime to take the Valley Sights Tour. On the way in, we’ll drive up to the Tunnel View to see most of the Yosemite Valley including the beautiful Bridalveil Falls and impressive El Capitan and Half Dome rock formations.  Then, driving on the south side of Merced River, we’ll stop for better vantage points and photo opportunities at the Three Brothers, Sentinel Rock, Yosemite Falls, as well as wild meadows that dot the landscape.  Passing the picturesquely situated Yosemite Valley Chapel, we’ll cross the Sentinel Bridge to reach Yosemite Lodge by 1:45pm.  Here you can store your luggage with the bell staff before setting off on your next adventure.
To arrange a tour for the remainder of your day, stop by the Yosemite Lodge Tour desk; there you can book a Valley Floor Tour* or, from June to October, the popular Glacier Point Tour*. (Both depart from the Yosemite Lodge.) Because these tours last 2-3 hours, be sure to make a reservation as soon as you arrive at 1:45 pm so you will have enough time to see the sights in the afternoon.  Otherwise, you can spend the next two or three hours are at your leisure to walk to Yosemite Falls, take the free shuttle to the Visitor Center or the rustic Ahwahnee Hotel (a National Historic Landmark), or simply stroll among the trees.
To reach our hotel in El Portal, there is a complimentary YARTS Bus from Yosemite Lodge that leaves at 4:00, 4:35, 5:20, 5:55, and 8:15 p.m., and takes about 25 minutes. Be sure to take any luggage you may have left with the bell staff/front desk.

Day 2 : Tour Activities - San Francisco:

This morning, check out of your hotel room in El Portal and take your luggage with you; you can take a 7:23am or 8:56 am shuttle to Yosemite Lodge (YARTS bus transfers run from El Portal to Yosemite Lodge roughly every 40 minutes.) The remainder of your day can be spent exploring the Yosemite Valley on your own, or taking one of the several organized park tours that are available. Just be sure that they will return to the Lodge by 3:30pm.

We’ll meet up at the Yosemite Lodge at 3:30pm for our departure.  There will be a brief stop en route before arriving back in San Francisco at 8:30pm. There can be traffic delays or late departures - please do not arrange a flight on this night.

*Extra fee; admission cost not included in tour price.
