Job Description:
Responsible for providing travel services for
tourists, visitors, local residents and other tourism industry partners. This
position is responsible for providing quality service, timely and accurate
completion of travel arrangements and the sales of value added services. The
candidate must be self-motivated and have the ability to perform in a team
environment.
- Go through supplier list and products list
regularly to ensure all itineraries are kept current.
- Maintain accuracy and integrity of products
on the website.
- Answer incoming calls and email inquiries in a
timely and courteous manner.
- Confirm bookings and notify traveler in a
timely manner if there are any problems with their itinerary.
- Take responsibility for ensuring any technical
issues which impact customer sales and service, including site performance,
are escalated and dealt with promptly.
- Set objectives and develop new procedures to
ensure the success of the operation team.
- Work with various teams and key players within
GotoBus.com to ensure partners’ needs are met.
- Work to successfully resolve partner issues
related to all aspects of the relationship.
- Advise Supervisor of any learned changes in
requirements.
Job Requirements:
Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced
and changing environment coupled with an orientation for quality sales.
Exceptional customer service skills are a must. This position required decisive
and successful problem solving skills, excellent written and verbal
communication skills and the ability to use the internet effectively to service
customer needs. Must have a service oriented attitude and a 4 year college
degree. Foreign language also a plus.
