From Washington D.C., for Hershey, PA-the sweetest place on Earth! Visitors will have the opportunity to learn
how chocolate is made, see the Hershey's characters in person, and even try the delicious food and desserts.
The sunset is usually late in summer, we will take the time to visit the scenic spots after arriving at Niagara Falls, so as to enjoy the sunshine and leave some time for the wonderful night tour, then we could head to Boston directly the next day. |
Day 3 : Niagara Falls - Boston |
We continue our sightseeing in Niagara Falls to see the majestic views of nature up close. Hop on a boat-ride on the Maid of the Mist (seasonal) where you can "soak"in the excitement and see the power of the Falls up close. We will also be heading to the IMAX Theatre Niagara Falls (optional) where you can experience Niagara Falls'
incredible stories, and see the most complete collection of barrels that have fallen down the mighty Falls. For winter special schedule(Nov - Mar), if time is availiable we will go to the Old Fort Niagara(optional), located at the mouth of the Niagara River. Be sure to catch the short guided tour that explains a lot in a short time. The fact that the old French Castle from 1726 is still standing today is amazing. The history and importance of this fort is a compelling reason to preserve it and the artifacts in the museum were spectacular. If you're a history buff or just like tours of this kind you have to see this. |
Day 4 : Boston - NYC |
We will take a city tour of Boston in the morning - visiting renowed schools such as Harvard University and MIT. We will also tour the Charles River and vibrant Quincy Market, both important to Boston today as tourist destinations as they were public spaces during colonial times. The tour will continue to downtown Boston, with sights of the Boston Common Park, Boston Public Garden, Trinity Church, and John Hancock Tower, etc. We will also join a harbor cruise, which will take you around Boston harbor, America’s old warship—Constitution (known as unsinkable ghost ship), Bunker Hill Monument, and the US navy guard base. |
Day 5 : New York City |
We start off our tour in New York City by heading to Ground Zero, site of the tragic events of September 11th, to pay our respects and to witness the massive rebuilding efforts. From there we head to Wall Street at the heart of the financial district, home to America's wealth and business interests. The tour proceeds to Chinatown, the largest Asian community in the United States. We will take in a Waterway cruise of the New York City harbor, where you can view the city's magnificent skyline and sights, including the busy South Street Seaport, the Statute of Liberty, and the Brooklyn Bridge from the Hudson and East River. An entertaining and informative tour guide will provide interesting facts about all of the sights that make this city special. We will visit Rockefeller Center, NBC Studios, and the surrounding shopping district along Fifth Avenue, where cutting edge fashion and luxury brands reside. No tour of New York City would be complete without a tour atop the Empire State Building, where on the 86th floor, 1,050 feet above the city's bustling streets, the Observatory offers panoramic views from within a glass enclosed pavilion. Then, we will go to Madame Tussauds Wax Museum*. Here we'll have the chance to see many meticulously crafted wax models of celebrities and historical figures. After looking at some statues, you will be surprised to look at real human beings and mistake them to be statues and statues to be human beings...... That's the fun part of this museum. We will also see the newly transformed USS Intrepid Sea-Air-Space Museum. The tour continues to the bright lights of Time Square and the Broadway Theatre District. We will visit the United Nations, a gathering place for 192 countries to meet and discuss important issues of the world such as peace and human rights.
The tour ends at 6:00 pm, returning to Philadelphia with the bus(a fee of $12/person is Included for returning bus ride without tour guide.) Or you can choose to be dropped off at a NYC area airport.
