This morning we depart from NYC for Niagara Falls, where we will arrive in the afternoon. There are dozens of taller waterfalls in the world, but in terms of sheer volume Niagara Falls is unbeatable: more than a million bathtubs of water plummet over the edge every second! Don’t miss the chance to see the Falls from the world famous Maid of the Mist* boat (seasonal); it’s a half hour-long thrill of a lifetime in which you’ll sail through the mist right up to the base of the Falls. Next, we’ll take you to Goat Island which separates the Canadian Horseshoe Falls from the U.S. Falls and offers spectacular vantage points of both sides. Season, weather and time permitting, we may visit the Cave of the Winds*,where  you’ll follow a tour guide over wooden walkways to the Hurricane Deck, less than 20 feet from the torrents of Bridal Veil Falls. After sunset, it’s one of the most awe-inspiring Niagara Falls tours available to the public, as a rainbow of colors illuminates the Falls showering down from above.

This morning, we’ll continue our sightseeing in Niagara Falls, heading to the IMAX Theatre* for a thrilling movie experience in which you’ll witness the sights and sounds of the Falls through the perspective of the daredevils who have tried to conquer it. Afterwards, we’ll depart Niagara and head south, where we will make a special stop at the Corning Glass Center, a showcase and museum for the art and science of glassmaking. Here you will witness firsthand craftsman and artisans working superheated glass into beautiful decorative pieces; later, you will have the opportunity to purchase these unique items for yourself or a loved one in the Center’s wonderful gift shop. At the end of our day, we’ll depart Corning for an evening arrival in New York City.
