We’ll depart from New York City in the morning, heading through New Jersey and on to Philadelphia, the City of Brotherly Love. When we arrive, we’ll embark on a panoramic tour that includes Chinatown, the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Elsert Alley (one of the oldest inhabited streets in America), and more.

In the Historic District of Philadelphia, we’ll visit the famous Liberty Bell, Constitution Square and Constitution Hall, birthplaces of the Declaration of Independence and U.S. Constitution. On our way out of the city, we‘ll stop at the Philadelphia Museum of Art to view some of its masterworks, and then continue to rural Lancaster County, home to an extensive Amish settlement. After a break for lunch at the Amish marketplace, we’ll tour an Amish farmhouse and learn how they live without many of the benefits of modern technology, such as electricity, running water, telephone service, or any of the appliances that are taken for granted in the 21st Century.

In the late afternoon, we depart eastward to arrive back in New York City in the evening.
