Our guide will greet you at the Tuxtla Gutierrez airport with a sign with your name. From there we will drive to Rio Grijalva, home of a great variety of flora and fauna (crocodiles, monkeys, and birds). After a boat tour down the Canon del Sumidero we will visit the colonial city of San Cristobal de las Casas which was founded in 1524 by Diego de Mazariegos. Afterwards we will drop you off at your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy as you wish.

Hotel: Hotel Casa Mexicana‎ or similar

After breakfast we will drive to San Juan Chamula where you will have the opportunity to learn about the Tzotzil religion. Then, we drive to the town of Zinacatan where you will visit the central church and a family home where you can try local liquor while you watch textiles being produced on a traditional loom. After returning to San Cristobal de las Casas, you can enjoy a city tour.

Hotel: Hotel Casa Mexicana‎ or similar

Breakfast and departure for Palenque. On the way we will visit the waterfalls of Agua Azul where you can swim and enjoy the crystal blue, warm water and Misol-Ha, a waterfall surrounded by tropical jungle. In the afternoon we will visit Palenque, a fantastically restored archaeological site. After our tour we will take you to your hotel.

Hotel: Chan Kah Resort Village or similar

After breakfast we will bring you to the Villahermosa airport. End of services.
