Day 1 :

Mexico City, "The City of the Gods", is one of the largest cities in the world with a wealth of grand history and beauty awaiting your discovery. Enjoy the many beautiful architectural monuments of the city, with elaborate style and design as unique as the times you’ll find represented in the historical center of the city. You’re invited to visit the national palace where you’ll see beautiful murals painted by the great muralist Diego Rivera, the Constitution Square (Central Plaza or "Zocalo") and the Metropolitan Cathedral.

In addition to the main avenues, we'll visit Chapultepec Park, the most important residential zones of the city, and the Pink Zone (Zona Rosa).

Heading south from the city, on our way we'll see: the World Trade Center, the Siqueiros Cultural Polyforum, the monumental Mexico Bull Ring, and the Insurgentes Theater with its mosaic mural featuring Cantinflas, painted by Diego Rivera.

Arriving at the University City we'll find its famous library decorated all over with the mosaic murals of Juan O'Gorman, the Olympic Stadium and the residential area of Pedregal de San Angel, built on lava fields.

Finally arriving at the peaceful waters of the Xochimilco Canals, one of the last traces of the ancient Aztec Era, we'll enjoy a relaxing trip on a traditional punt or pre-Hispanic boat.

Afterwards, we'll continue on to Coyoacan, an impressive colonial district, where we'll walk down Francisco Sosa street with its big, old, rambling houses of the 16th Century. Upon arrival at the main square, we'll see the mansion of the "Conquistador" Hernando Cortes and the Church of Saint John the Baptist with its beautiful paintings and altarpieces.
