Day 1 : |
The Grand Canyon is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. It was created over the course of 17 million years by the Colorado River, making the Grand Canyon a geologic museum of epic proportions, where nearly half of the earth's 4.6-billion-year history is on display. It is surely a sight that everyone should see!
We’ll drive through the scenic and stark Joshua Tree Forest and Grand Wash Cliffs on the way to our destination. Once we arrive at the West Rim of the Grand Canyon, we’ll make stops at the Hualapai Indian Reservation at Guano Point, for a BBQ lunch served by Hualapai Indians, as well as at Eagle Point, for a stroll on the famous glass SkyWalk. Created by David Jin, the Grand Canyon SkyWalk* is a large, U-shaped glass structure that extends over the Canyon’s edge, allowing visitors who dare to look straight down upon the 1-mile vertical drop. You’ll feel as if you’re walking on air above the yawning gap, and have an unparalleled sense of the Grand Canyon’s scope.
To make your trip more enjoyable, our bus is equipped with a restroom and in-route movies. There are also extra stops during the journey for shopping and rest breaks. Along the way, you’ll also see the mighty Hoover Dam and Lake Mead as you pass over the new bypass bridge.
For convenience, we will pick you up at your hotel before the start of the tour and drop you back off at our tour’s end, which will be at around 6:00 pm.
