Through the still-standing Roman Ramp (10 minutes walk) climb Masada - the ancient fortress built by Herod the Great - and learn about the tragedy of the Zealots, its last defenders. Using cable car we will descend the ancient fortress and arrive at the lowest point on Earth - the Dead Sea.
Have your lunch at the Ein Gedi area, before we will have a pleasant, 1-hour hike in the Judean Desert, arriving at the striking Shulamit Fall.
