Day 1 : Hometown - Denver - Red Rock - State Capital - 16th St Mall

Arrive in Denver, meet your tour guide in Denver Airport (Grand Transportation Level in front of Hertz Car rental, 11:30am). Welcome to Mile High City, land of beauty just east of the Rockies! With your friendly guides, visit Red Rocks Amphitheatre on the slope of Rockies, the gold-dome State House of Colorado and the 16th Street Mall in Downtown Denver. Stay overnight in Denver.

Day 2 : Cheyenne - Crazy Horse - Mt. Rushmore - Deadwood

Head north on I-25 this morning, paralleling the great backbone of North America, the Rockies. Arrive in City of Cheyenne, state capital of Wyoming, which is host to one of nation’s largest Rodeo events every year. Next, travel to Crazy Horse Indian Memorial; see the world’s largest mountain carving! Next visit the most famous icon of America in the afternoon, Mt. Rushmore National Memorial. George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, Abraham Lincoln, look down from their stony height and remind everyone even impossible is possible! Stay overnight in Deadwood, enjoy a cowboys shootout show in summer months in this National Historic Landmark.

Day 3 : Devil’s Tower - Western Museum - Billings

Drive to America’s first National Monument, Devil’s Tower in the morning. Rising dramatically 1,267 feet above the surrounding terrain, the tower is known as ‘a bear’s dwelling’ by many Native Americans, and an ‘igneous intrusion’ by geologists. The tower is featured in 1977 movie ‘Close Encounters of the Third Kind’ and challenged by 4,000 rock climbers every year! Visit the western Museum in the afternoon where you can catch a glimpse of the times of cowboys. Stay overnight in the most populous city of Montana, Billings.

Day 4 : Yellowstone National Park

Yellowstone National Park, first of its kind, home to world’s largest super volcano and over 10,000 geothermal features. In here you will find everything you expect to see in a national park! Snow covered mountains, waterfalls, lakes, meadows, herds of buffalos, elks…and above all, the geysers, hot springs, fumaroles and mud pots. Enjoy the eruption of the symbol of YS, Old Faithful; the crown jewel of the park, YS Lake; upper and lower falls and the famous Artist Point of Grand Canyon of YS…try to spot a bear or a bald eagle from your luxury coach in this largest Sanctuary of Wildlife in the country! Enjoy your overnight stay in the park.

Day 5 : Yellowstone - Grand Teton - Jackson Hole - Salt Lake City

This morning, enjoy a picturesque drive through Yellowstone Park, and travel along the Snake River to Grand Teton National Park. Polished by glaciers, Teton Range rises thousands of feet above the Snake River Valley, surrounded by lakes and forests. It’s something out of a fairytale! Next, drive to Jackson Hole, a famous cowboy town as well as a very popular vacation destination of all seasons in Wyoming. Drive to SLC in the evening and stay overnight.

Day 6 : Salt Lake City - Arches National Park - Grand Junction

This morning drive to nearby newly renovated State House of Utah, and the virtue kingdom of Mormons, Mormon Temple. After a friendly tour given by missionary sisters, we visit Great Salt Lake Marina (own expense) and the richest and cleanest mine in the world, Bingham Canyon Copper Mine (own expense). Drive to Arches National Park this afternoon. Over time, water, ice and erosion have endowed ANP world’s highest concentration of natural arches; including the unofficial symbol of Beehive State, the Delicate Arch. You may even discover an arch yourself! Stay overnight in Grand Junction, Colorado.

Day 7 : Glenwood Spring - Rocky Mountains - Denver - Hometown

Drive to City of Glenwood Spring; soak in the world’s largest natural spring water pool. The warm and minerals rich spring water soothes your mind and body, and is good for your health! Next, cross the Rockies and enjoy the scenery along the way. After lunch, drive to Denver International Airport and finish your pleasant vacation. (Please schedule flights to depart from Denver after 5:30pm)
