It starts off with a riding tour of Old Town Alexandria, viewing the boyhood home of Robert E Lee and George Washington's townhouse. Stop at Christ Church where the docent will fill you with facts about George Washington and Robert E. Lee's life with the church. Then travel to Mt. Vernon where time is allowed for a tour of "The Mansion" with time to explore more than a dozen outbuildings, The Colonial Revival Gardens, and the burial site of George and Martha Washington. Not to be missed is the new Donald W. Reynolds Museum and Education Center and the Ford Orientation Center with 23 galleries and theaters with over 500 original artifacts.
The Food court offers a variety of lunch options with a glass-enclosed pavilion or open-air terrace seating.
