Day 1: Boston - Montreal
We suggest starting with the city’s tallest point, on which the biggest Church of North America locates, St. Joseph. Top off your sightseeing by hiking to the top of the city’s beloved “mountain”—Mont Royal, near the west side of the Plateau district. It is a must visit site for all Montreal visitors. Walk around Old Montreal (Vieux Montreal), where history can be seen and felt at every turn. The imposing Notre Dame Basilica, built in 1892, has an ornate, hand-carved wood interior that was constructed without any nails.
-
Day 2: Montreal - Ottawa
The waterfront area known as the Old Port (Vieux Port) is a revitalized area with picnic grounds, walking paths, lots of musicians and performers, an IMAX theater and the Montreal Science Centre. The unofficial center of downtown, is the Mar, Queen of the World Cathedral, a one-third-scale replica of St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome. To the north of downtown is the Olympic Park complex, originally built for the 1976 Summer Games. The major draw is the Biodome, a one-of-a-kind ecological interpretive center. After lunch, continue your tour to Ottawa Parliaments Building, Centennial Flame, Down Town, National Art Gallery. Transfer to hotel after dinner.
-
Day 3: Ottawa - Thousand Islands - Boston
Today’s attraction will be the famous Thousand Islands. The Thousand Islands extends its region Northeast from the outlet of Lake Ontario and spreads approximately 60 miles in length covered with more than 1800 Islands. Your tour guide will take you to board the Thousand Islands boat cruise to explore the areas and see the homes among the many Rich & Famous. Lunch will be served around the area. After lunch we will head back to Boston.
