This 5.5 hours of fun includes the following attractions and more:
We begin the tour at 9:00am (morning departure) or 12:15pm (mid-morning departure) in front of Sid Grauman's Chinese Theatre , where the famous hand & foot prints of the figures who forged Hollywood, plus the stars who keep this town alive are splayed on the sidewalk in front of the theatre. (Note: Please be at Grauman's 15 minutes before departure) .
On this fascinating tour, you will see LA City Hall, where Superman was filmed, the Staples Center, Walt Disney Music Center and, of course, Olvera Street, the very birth place of LA. Founded in 1781, Olvera Street, known as "El Pueblo", is also home to a beautiful open-air market in the Style of "Old Mexico", as well as the Avila Adobe, built in 1818 by former Mayor Francisco Avila. The Avila Adobe is the oldest building still standing in the City of Angels, and is now a museum. (Stop break)
Up next on the tour is colorful Venice Beach along California's beautiful Pacific Ocean. See famous Muscle Beach, where Baywatch was filmed. Walk the beach and explore the musicians' boardwalk, where artists of all kind display their talents (drumming, painting, dancing) and vendors sell their wares (sarongs, sandals, essential oils, souvenir t-shirts and more) and fresh, mouth-watering food (seafood, pasta, Indian cuisine, funnel cakes and the like). (Stop break)
We continue along the coastline to the more upscale beach town of Santa Monica, where we see the Santa Monica Pier with its ferris wheel and neon-lit cafes, and then it's off to the Third Street Promenade for lunch and continued sightseeing of the glistening gem that is Santa Monica. (Stop break)
Driving up Ocean Avenue, we travel through Brentwood into Bel Air and Beverly Hills, where you'll see the estates of the Legends of Hollywood. You're likely to see the homes of Elvis, Johnny Depp, Nicolas Cage and more - all manner of manors belonging to stars both old and new. Everyone is sure to find his or her favorites.
Then we're off to glossy Rodeo Drive for more shopping and celebrity spotting in high-end stores such as Gucci, Prada, Louis Viutton, Bijan, just to name a few. (Stop break)
Next on this fabulous tour is the Sunset Strip, where the stars of today and yesterday continue to party at clubs like Whisky A-Go-Go, House of Blues, Sky Bar, Viper Room and many more.
And what is a trip to Hollywood without seeing our world-famous Hollywood Sign? A quick stop on Mulholland Drive, known locally as Lovers Lane, makes for a picture-perfect opportunity to see this dominating landmark, as well as a mountain-top view of Downtown LA, Cityscape and The San Fernando Valley. (Stop break)
