| Come along for a day of fun and adventure as you learn more about the
number one resident of Florida - the 'Alligator'. Gatorland is home to over
4,000 alligators, as well as snakes and other exotic animals.
The Gator Jumparoo Show - Thrills and chills abound as some of the
largest alligators in the world actually jump four to five feet out of the
water to retrieve food in this famous one-of-a-kind show
Alligator Wrestling Show - Gatorland offers a unique alligator
wrestling show done "Florida Cracker" style in a shaded 800 seat stadium.
Gator wranglers catch a 6 to 8 foot alligator by hand and climb onto the
snapping animal's back to point out survival features to the audience. After
doing stunts that only few are brave (or foolish) enough to try, the
alligator is rolled over and put to sleep...only to be awakened by a tickle!
Jungle Crocs of the World - Welcome to Gatorlands newest exhibit!
Here, you will be able to witness a rare collection of crocodiles. You'll be
stunned by the lightning fast predatory skills and social behavior of some
of the most vicious animals on earth! This exhibit showcases Jungle Crocs
from Asia, Australia, Cuba, Africa's Nile River and South America, giving
you a chance to learn some interesting facts about these animals.
Swamp Walk - This beautiful nature walk explores a native cypress
swamp complete with Florida wildlife, birds and many swamp critters. So keep
your eyes open, for this ten minute walk is an original Florida adventure!
Breeding Marsh - There's nothing like a ten-acre Florida marsh to set
the mood. With 100 female and 25 male gators, you are sure to see an amazing
display of gators in their natural habitat. For an even more exhilarating
spectacle, get a bird's-eye view from the three-story observation tower.
Pearl's Smokehouse - Experience some down home cookin' and enjoy some
"Gator Delicacies" such as smoked alligator ribs and fried gator nuggets.
