Tour Itinerary:
- Day 1 Los Angeles - Las Vegas - Richfield:
Bathed in the early
morning sunshine, we leave the hubbub of the city to begin an exciting 7-day
trip. The bus rolls northward along Freeway 15, shorts of the forests of San
Bernardino, and enters the Mojave Desert, the largest in North America. Here
one comes upon an unusual scene of stunted, austere Joshua trees dotting a
barren landscape that stretches to the horizon. After lunch in Las Vegas, we
enter Arizona, the state with the largest native Indian population, pass
through the magnificent Virgin River Canyon, We proceed to Virgin River Oasis,
and then enter Utah - Richfield,
Overnight in Richfield, UT (Appletree Inn or similar)
- Day 2 Arch National Park - Denver:
In the morning we go to Arch National Park, which has the world largest
concentration of natural sandstone arches. Within this national park of 73, 000
acres, one finds more than six hundreds natural rock arches of different shapes
and sizes of the erosive forces of wind and water gave created a wonderland of
rock formations, some resembling lofty spires, some like windows, one that
looks like an elder admonishing his two associates, one that looks likes a
whale's eyes, others that look like doughnuts, and so forth. We then enter
Colorado and stay overnight in Denver City.
Overnight in Denver, CO (Red Roof Inn or similar)
- Day 3 Crazy Horse - Mt Rushmore - Deadwood:
Morning depart for Crazy Horse. After that we go to see the word-famous
mountain carvings of four American presidents at Mt Rushmore. Those sculptures
are the titanic creations of the sculptor Gutzon Borglum and his son who have
left to the world this undying memorial. Four American presidents are
depicted: George Washington, founding father of the United States Thomas
Jefferson, who drafted the Declaration of Independence; Theodore Roosevelt,
envoy of peace; and Abraham Lincoln, who fought to emancipate the black slaves
in the United States.
Overnight in Deadwood, SD (Franklin Hotel or similar)
- Day 4 Yellowstone National Park:
We proceed to the Bighorn
Indian Reservation area, where the main scenes of the film "Dancing with
Wolves" was shot, and cross the Rocky Mountain range the Continental Divide of
the United States - to enter a word of lush greenery at Yellowstone National
park. This ancient volcanic region, a quarter the size of Taiwan, is the
world's first national park as well as the biggest world animal preserve in
the United States. Here we see trout straining upstream in clear rivulets and
lush prairies with bison and deer grazing on them. This is also the home of
black bears, grizzly bears, moose, and a variety of rare waterfowl.
Overnight in Yellowstone (Yellowstone Park Inn or similar)
- Day 5 Yellowstone National Park - Grand Teton National Park - Pocatello:
We visit the Yellowstone park with its romantic Yellowstone Lake, its
terraced warm springs, its marvelous Old Faithful geysers, its magnificent
canyons, the thundering Yellowstone waterfall, its quiet and mysterious
forests, the Fishing Bridge that rises amid the mountains and lake waters, and
the rumbling volcanic craters., In the afternoon we drive along Snake River
Valley to Grand Teton National Park where we are greeted with the sight of
soaring mountain peak rising from the Jackson canton and covered with a
never-melting ice cap. It makes one Mt Fuji pale by comparison and gives one
the feeling that "all other mountains look minuscule after one has seen this
highest of peaks. We then arrives at Jackson, a typical little Western city an
the hometown of "Harrison Ford". This town of some fours thousand residents is
redolent of the legendary patina of :" The Raiders of the Lost Ark" in which
he played a lead role and is filled with specialty stores. You must not miss
the ad lib Western shootout shows staged in Deer Horn Peak in the center of
town and in the street. We will stay overnight at Pocatello.
Overnight in Pocatello (Ramada Inn or similar) - Day 6 Salt Lake
City - Las Vegas:
As we ensure for our destination Salt Lake City, we will examine the
building of this extraordinary culture - how an arid desert surrounded by
saline streams can breed such modernized and industrialized society. We will
also pay our respect to the Mormon Temple and the State Capital. Later we will
arrive in Las Vegas.
Overnight in Las Vegas, NV (Plaza Hotel or similar) - Day 7 Las
Vegas - Los Angeles:
We leave Las Vegas in the morning, make a brief
stop at a factory outlets where renowned name brand garments and leather
jackets can be had. We arrive in Los Angeles in the evening (around 6:00pm) to
end this memorable and abundant excursion.

Special Note:
- Lodging: Single price is for one person staying in one room.
Double, Triple and Quadruple prices are for two people, three people and four
people staying in one room respectively. Triple and Quad rooms are based on
the existing bedding in a room which is 2 double beds.
- Tour Languages: Depending on the number of passengers booked for a
particular departure, tours languages (English, Mandarin and Cantonese) may be
combined to operate the tours.
- Flight arrangement: Please arrange flight arriving Las Vegas before
1:00pm and meet the tour guide at the parking lot of Tropicana Hotel (3801 Las
Vegas Boulevard, South Las Vegas, Nevada 89109) at 3:00pm.
- Child Rate: Child rates apply to those who are between 2 and 9
years old and using existing bedding with 2 full-paying passengers (regardless
of ages). For example, tour member who are between 2 and 9 years and traveling
with two adults in the same room receive a child discount on the tour price.
