See a unique view of the Colorado River as it flows almost 4000 feet below the terraced cliffs of the West Rim of the Grand Canyon - part of the dramatic scenery you will enjoy as we visit the land of the Hualapai Indian Tribe.
Travel in air-conditioned comfort on one of our modern motor coaches as we make our way to the Hualapai Indian Reservation.
Have your camera ready for some great picture taking opportunities as you take a leisure walk along the rim and see how Mother Nature carved an image of the Great Thunderbird into the cliff of the Canyon before you enjoy your BBQ lunch (included).
A brief photo stop of Hoover Dam is all part of this grand adventure, as is the drive through the 900-year-old Joshua Tree Forest, which surrounds much of this high desert country.
*** Starting on March 28, 2007, the Grand Canyon park will officially open The Skywalk. ***
The Skywalk is the first-ever cantilever shaped glass walkway to suspend more than 4,000 feet above the canyon’s floor and extend 70 feet from the canyon’s rim. You will have plenty of time on our tour to walk on the Skywalk if you choose to do so (this is optional and up to each of you).
Note: There is an additional fee charged at the Grand Canyon to walk on the Skywalk. Please visit the park's Skywalk website for additional information.
This tour includes free hotel pick up and return, Hoover Dam and Joshua Tree forest photo stops, BBQ lunch and entrance fee to the West Rim.
