Yosemite Valley is located about 215 miles south east of San Francisco. Visitors should spend at least one night in order to see the incredible sights in and around the Yosemite Valley. It is possible to stay right INSIDE Yosemite Valley at:
CURRY VILLAGE CABIN or
YOSEMITE LODGE or THE AHWAHNEE HOTEL.
Day 1
San Francisco - Yosemite Valley - Free time
Pick up from any downtown hotel in central San Francisco area between 6:15am and 6:45am. Direct motor coach leaves San Francisco around 7:00am going through Livermore Valley and over Altamont Pass. With a short stop en route, arrival at Yosemite Park Big Oak Flat entrance is at about 12:00pm. Dropping in to Yosemite Valley you see magnificent sights. Driving along south side of Merced River you see the The Half Dome and waterfalls during winter, spring and summer months. The tour drop off at Yosemite Lodge is at about 1:45pm. If you are staying at Curry Village or The Ahwahnee Hotel, the hotel shuttle takes you there. It leaves every 5 minutes from the Yosemite lodge. Check in is at about 4:00pm so they store your luggage and you have time to take the free shuttle in the valley and get familiar with the area. Overnight in Yosemite Valley (Camp Curry Cabins, Yosemite Lodge or Ahwahnee Hotel)
Day 2
Glacier Point Tour (summer) or Yosemite Valley tour (year round)
You can take the Glacier Point Tour leaving Yosemite Lodge at 8:30am. This takes about four hours and goes up to about 8,000 feet in elevation. When that tour is not operating or if the elevation bothers you the alternate is the 2-hour Yosemite Valley tour. You can also take the 8-hour Grand Tour (instead of Glacier Point) that includes Mariposa Grove of Big Trees and Glacier Point at an additional cost of about $41per person (Please change your reservations at the Yosemite Lodge Tour desk on the day of arrival.) Overnight in Yosemite Valley (Camp Curry Cabins, Yosemite Lodge or Ahwahnee Hotel)
Day 3
Free Time - San Francisco
Morning free time. The return trip starts with pick up at Yosemite Lodge at 3:30pm. A brief stop is made at about 6:00pm. Coming over the Altamont Pass we drive through Livermore Valley arriving San Francisco by 8:30pm. You are dropped off at the hotels from where you were picked up. There can be traffic delays or late departure - please do not expect to catch a flight at night. If you are going on to San Francisco International Airport it is best to take a shuttle or taxi from the first stop.

Transportation: May to October 31 you travel
by motor coach. November through April motor coach on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Other days by AMTRAK to

About the Lodging:
Camp Curry Cabins are like modest motel rooms with private bath and
outdoor patios. Above you are the Half Dome and Glacier Point in the heart of
Yosemite Valley. A delightful economical place to stay. (Available up to
October 30)
Yosemite Lodge Located near the Yosemite Falls there are several two-story buildings amidst the sugar pine and redwood trees surrounding a central core that has a cafeteria, a food court and Mountain Room restaurant. Air conditioning and TV have not yet invaded these nicely appointed rooms each with two beds, bathroom, balcony or patio. There is a well-stocked gift shop and store, a large swimming pool and a post office on the grounds.
The Ahwahnee is a world-class hotel built in 1927 and kept in an
excellent condition. Dinner at The Ahwahnee Dining Room will be in your memory
for ever. All rooms have air conditioning and TV. Some rooms are available
with king size beds.
Child Rate: Child rates apply to those 5 to 11 years and using
existing bedding with 2 full-paying passengers (regardless of ages). All expenses for children under 5 (cribs, rollaway bed, meals, etc.) are payable locally.
Booking Information
Confirmation
Immediately after submitting your reservation you will receive a receipt of
booking by email. Within 72 hours of submitting your reservation you will
receive a confirmation email confirming the booking status.
Please do not book any airline tickets until you receive the
status of your booking.
Redemption
You will receive an confirmation email (e-ticket) after your order was received. Complete Operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your Confirmation Email (e-ticket). When you reserve your attractions and services you will be asked to print e-tickets to present when you arrive at your destination. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

The purchase of any travel services represents your acceptance Terms &
Conditions set out herein. Please ensure that you read carefully and understand
these Terms & Conditions prior to booking.
Hotels listed for each tour may change due to special events,
conventions or other reasons beyond our control.
Meals when included are with a choice of menu. Dinner includes soup or
salad, main course, dessert and coffee, milk or tea. Wine, bar beverages,
appetizers or fancy desserts are at extra cost to you. Vegetarian, Kosher or
other diets can not be guaranteed but you can order appropriate items.
Baggage checked with us is brought to and from the hotel rooms in
Monterey and Solvang on the Cypress tour. In case of loss, our maximum liability
is $500.00 or repairs up to $50.00 for damage other than normal wear and tear.
Baggage handling is not included for Yosemite tours.
Cancellations and refunds
Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and
hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and
pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time
of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our
office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to Gotobus through web mail
at Contact Us. Your refund
request will be answered and processed promptly. If you do not receive any reply
within 2 business days, that means your request is not received successfully;
thus, the tour status remains "confirmed". Please contact us immediately at
617.354.2101.
Cancellation penalties per person as follows; there is 6% handling fee
of refund amount.
Up to 21 days before tour date the charge is $50 per person.
A handling fee of $25 per booking will be charged for any alteration or
revision made to a reservation.
20 to 3 days prior tour date the charge is 50% of the tour cost.
A handling fee of $55 per transaction will be charged for any alteration or
revision made to a reservation.
2 days to 24 hours prior tour the charge is 75% of the tour cost.
A handling fee of $75 per transaction will be charged for any alteration or
revision made to a reservation.
Less than 24 hours or No Show the charge is 100% of the tour cost.
We don't accept any alteration or revision made to a reservation.
The refund is the amount paid minus the cancellation charge and handling
fee.
We cannot grant refunds more than 30 days after completion of tour.
Itinerary Variations
We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such
improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make
changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute
hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes
in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the
itinerary pages.
Tour Cancellation
We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance
with operating requirements (e.g. minimum number of passengers) or circumstances
beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the
tour, Gotobus' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it
has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar
tour. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred
on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from
customers.
We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due
to our cancellations.

What if I am not sure if the tour picks up from my hotel or not?
Please send us an email at : Contact customer support with your complete hotel address. We will let you know if the tour can pick you up from there or not.

Do I need to reconfirm the tour?
Yes, you will have to call the tour operator at least 24 hours before the departure time to reconfirm the tour. They will let you know the exact pick up location and time.

Is it a fully guided tour?
If you take the motor coach you will have a narrated tour till Yosemite. The alternate tours that you will be taking inside are arranged by the park itself and they will be narrated by the park officials.

What if I need to cancel my tour?
Please refer to the Policies tab. It gives you all the information about the cancelation of the tour.

Will the bus driver or the tour guide will be with us all the time?
No, In order for you to have the maximum experience of the park, the bus driver / tour guide will drop you inside the park at The Yosemite Lodge. There are YART buses running from the Yosemite lodge to Mountain View / River View. You can take those Yart service to go and come from your hotel at El Portal.
The bus driver / Tour guide will come to pick you up on the day you check out from Yosemite Lodge.

When does the Amtrak starts?
The Amtrak tour starts in November and continues till April. If your tour dates falls on Monday / Wednesday / Friday, irrespective of going or coming from Yosemite. You will be on Amtrak. For time to time the tour operator might give you the bus transportation as well in winters. It is always advisale if you are taking the tour in winter that you check with us before booking if it will be an Amtrak or bus.

Is the Amtrak tour guided?
No, there will be no guide when you are using the Amtrak. After getting off at the station you will be transferred to the park.

How will I get the tickets to Amtrak?
After you have booked the tour we will send you an email asking for the hotel address or the address where you are staying, please note that the address should be of San Franscisco area. The tour operator will courier you the tickets. Or if your hotel is in the downtown area they will leave it at the front desk of the hotel.

Will the Amtrak tour pick up from the hotel?
No, This facility is only available if you are taking the tour on a Motor Coach. If your taking the tour on Amtrak you will have to come to the pick up location that we will let you know. Please note if your return day falls on the Amtrak schedule. You will have to make your own arrangements to go from the station to your hotel.
