Granite cliffs, mountains, meadows, forests, rivers and valleys formed by glaciers over millions of years. On entering Yosemite you are greeted by the largest monolith, El Capitan, rising 3, 000-ft from the valley floor. On 2nd day you can go to Glacier Point and Mariposa Grove of Big Trees in the summer. Or you can spend the day in Yosemite Valley with the ponderosas, pine, incense-cedars, rivers and rocks.
Day 1
San Francisco - Yosemite - Valley Sights Tour:
Pick up from any downtown hotel in central San Francisco area between 6:15am
and 6:45am. Direct motor coach leaves San Francisco by 7:00am going through
San Joaquin Valley. Brief rest stop at around 10:30am. Enter Yosemite about
12:15pm. *
Valley Sights Tour. On the way in we drive up to Tunnel View to see most
of Yosemite Valley including El Capitan, Bridalveil Fall and Half Dome.
Driving on the south side of Merced River you see Three Brothers, Sentinel
Rock, Yosemite Falls and meadows. Past the Chapel and crossing the Sentinel
Bridge we reach Yosemite Lodge by 1:45pm. Store you luggage with the bell
staff.
At Yosemite Lodge Tour desk you can reserve all year Valley Floor Tour at $25 (child $13) or June to October Glacier Point Tour at $41.00 (child $23). There tours depart from Yosemite Lodge and can be booked by the tour desk when you arrive at 1:45. Next two or three hours free - walk to Yosemite Falls, take the free shuttle to the Visitor Center, The Ahwahnee Hotel and other places, etc.
For El Portal, YARTS Bus from Yosemite Lodge leaves at 4:00, 4:35, 5:20, 5:55, 8:15 p.m. Takes about 25 minutes. Take your luggage with you.

Day 2

SPEND THE DAY ON YOUR OWN or If you have reserved and paid for one of these optional tours you board at Yosemite Lodge.

A. GRAND TOUR. Mariposa Grove of Big Trees. Glacier Point. 8 hours. From June to late October (For this tour you need to take the 7:23 YARTS from El Portal.)
B. GLACIER POINT TOUR. From June to late October - 4 hours.
C. VALLEY FLOOR TOUR. Operates all year. 2 hours.

Day 3
Tour Activities - San Francisco:
Check out and take your luggage with you at 7:23am or 8:56 am. YARTS Bus transfer from El Portal arrives Yosemite Lodge in about 40 minutes. Take one of the tours that you booked on Day 1 that returns by 3:30pm OR SPEND THE DAY ON YOUR OWN.
Meet us at Yosemite Lodge at 3:30pm for 3:45pm departure. Brief stop en route arriving back in San Francisco after 8:30 pm. There can be traffic delays or late departure - please do not expect to catch a flight at night.
Departure and Return Details
Complimentary hotel pick-up service is available from all downtown hotels in central San Francisco area between 6:15am and 6:45am. Please advise pick-up hotel at time of booking and call upon arrival in San Francisco to reconfirm pick-up time.

About the Lodging:
Yosemite View Lodge is located along the Merced river in El Portal, about 25 minutes by bus from Yosemite Visitor Center. It has 277 rooms in several three story structures. The central area consists of the lobby, gift shop, a pizza parlor, dining room and a lounge. There is an outdoor spa and two pools. All the rooms have air conditioning, TV., kitchenettes, coffee makers, microwave ovens, refrigerators and a spa tub with double showers. They have a choice of River View Rooms or Mountain View Rooms. Immediately after submitting your reservation you will receive a receipt of
booking by email. Within 72 hours of submitting your reservation you will
receive a confirmation email confirming the booking status.
Please do not book any airline tickets until you receive the
status of your booking.
Redemption
You will receive an confirmation email (e-ticket) after your order was received. Complete Operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your Confirmation Email (e-ticket). When you reserve your attractions and services you will be asked to print e-tickets to present when you arrive at your destination. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

The purchase of any travel services represents your acceptance Terms &
Conditions set out herein. Please ensure that you read carefully and understand
these Terms & Conditions prior to booking.
Hotels listed for each tour may change due to special events,
conventions or other reasons beyond our control.
Meals when included are with a choice of menu. Dinner includes soup or
salad, main course, dessert and coffee, milk or tea. Wine, bar beverages,
appetizers or fancy desserts are at extra cost to you. Vegetarian, Kosher or
other diets can not be guaranteed but you can order appropriate items.
Baggage checked with us is brought to and from the hotel rooms in
Monterey and Solvang on the Cypress tour. In case of loss, our maximum liability
is $500.00 or repairs up to $50.00 for damage other than normal wear and tear.
Baggage handling is not included for Yosemite tours.
Cancellations and refunds
Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and
hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and
pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time
of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our
office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to Gotobus through web mail
at Contact Us. Your refund
request will be answered and processed promptly. If you do not receive any reply
within 2 business days, that means your request is not received successfully;
thus, the tour status remains "confirmed". Please contact us immediately at
617.354.2101.
Cancellation penalties per person as follows; there is 6% handling fee
of refund amount.
Up to 21 days before tour date the charge is $50 per person.
A handling fee of $25 per booking will be charged for any alteration or
revision made to a reservation.
20 to 3 days prior tour date the charge is 50% of the tour cost.
A handling fee of $55 per transaction will be charged for any alteration or
revision made to a reservation.
2 days to 24 hours prior tour the charge is 75% of the tour cost.
A handling fee of $75 per transaction will be charged for any alteration or
revision made to a reservation.
Less than 24 hours or No Show the charge is 100% of the tour cost.
We don't accept any alteration or revision made to a reservation.
The refund is the amount paid minus the cancellation charge and handling
fee.
We cannot grant refunds more than 30 days after completion of tour.
Itinerary Variations
We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such
improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make
changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute
hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes
in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the
itinerary pages.
Tour Cancellation
We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance
with operating requirements (e.g. minimum number of passengers) or circumstances
beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the
tour, Gotobus' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it
has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar
tour. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred
on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from
customers.
We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due
to our cancellations.

What if I am not sure if the tour picks up from my hotel or not?
Please send us an email at : Contact customer support with your complete hotel address. We will let you know if the tour can pick you up from there or not.

Do I need to reconfirm the tour?
Yes, you will have to call the tour operator at least 24 hours before the departure time to reconfirm the tour. They will let you know the exact pick up location and time.

Is it a fully guided tour?
If you take the motor coach you will have a narrated tour till Yosemite. The alternate tours that you will be taking inside are arranged by the park itself and they will be narrated by the park officials.

What if I need to cancel my tour?
Please refer to the Policies tab. It gives you all the information about the cancelation of the tour.

Will the bus driver or the tour guide will be with us all the time?
No, In order for you to have the maximum experience of the park, the bus driver / tour guide will drop you inside the park at The Yosemite Lodge. There are YART buses running from the Yosemite lodge to Mountain View / River View. You can take those Yart service to go and come from your hotel at El Portal.
The bus driver / Tour guide will come to pick you up on the day you check out from Yosemite Lodge.

Will I be staying inside the park?
No, you will be staying at El Portal. That is the entrance of the park , the lodges that are inside the park are about 13 miles from El Portal. If you would like to stay inside the park. Please choose one of the Valley stay tours.

What are the YARTS bus timings?
Going up to Yosemite Valley at 7:23 or 8:56 a.m. YARTS Bus from El Portal arrives at Yosemite Lodge in 45 minutes. For return to El Portal YARTS Bus from Yosemite Lodge leaves at 4:15, 4:35, 5:20 and 8:15 p.m. Takes about 25 minutes.

When does the Amtrak starts?
The Amtrak tour starts in November and continues till April. If your tour dates falls on Monday / Wednesday / Friday, irrespective of going or coming from Yosemite. You will be on Amtrak. For time to time the tour operator might give you the bus transportation as well in winters. It is always advisale if you are taking the tour in winter that you check with us before booking if it will be an Amtrak or bus.

Is the Amtrak tour guided?
No, there will be no guide when you are using the Amtrak. After getting off at the station you will be transferred to the park.

How will I get the tickets to Amtrak?
After you have booked the tour we will send you an email asking for the hotel address or the address where you are staying, please note that the address should be of San Franscisco area. The tour operator will courier you the tickets. Or if your hotel is in the downtown area they will leave it at the front desk of the hotel.

Will the Amtrak tour pick up from the hotel?
No, This facility is only available if you are taking the tour on a Motor Coach. If your taking the tour on Amtrak you will have to come to the pick up location that we will let you know. Please note if your return day falls on the Amtrak schedule. You will have to make your own arrangements to go from the station to your hotel.
