The Essential New York Daily Tour

• Ferry ticket to Statue of Liberty/Ellis Islands - You may be permitted into the base of the Statue of Liberty, but not inside the Statue of Liberty itself due to security issues

• Top of the Rock Observatory (admission) in the heart of Rockefeller Center offers breathtaking views of New York City from three observation deck levels with 360 degrees view. Elevator to observatory requires reservation in advance or at walk up ticket office.

• United Nations Tour admission.

• Uptown Loop -Central Park, Lincoln Center, American Museum of Natural History, Cathedral of St. John the Divine, Harlem, Metropolitan Museum of Art, Guggenheim and other famous cultural attractions on the Museum Mile.

• Downtown Loop - Times Square. Empire State Building, Greenwich Village, SoHo, Little Italy, Chinatown, Financial District, Battery Park, South Street Seaport.

• Brooklyn Loop(Seasonal) - the Botanic Garden, Brooklyn Museum of Art, Antique Furniture District, Fulton Museum.The Brooklyn Loop will operate with trolleys and motorcoaches.

• Night Tour - not hop-on, hop-off, fully guided evening part that encompasses the Empire State Building, Greenwich Village, SoHo, Chinatown, the Lower East Side, Rockefeller Center, Manhattan Bridge, Brooklyn Promenade and more.The Night Tour might operate with double-decker buses or motorcoaches. During the holiday season (November 25 to December 30) the Night Tour will be replaced by the Holiday Lights Tour.

Usage Notes:

• Tickets for the ferry and for the United Nations Tour can be used at any time during the stay
• OR visitors may use the Downtown Loop to hop-on and hop-off at Battery Park (embarkation point for ferry to Liberty/Ellis islands) and at the United Nations.
• Trip on the ferry is not guided.
• At holiday times and in summer, travelers should allow at least 2-3 hours if visiting only Statue of Liberty and 3-4 hours if visiting both Statue and Ellis Island.
• By purchasing ferry ticket in advance, travelers will save time by not having to stand in line at ticket booth but they must still wait on line to board ferry.
• Ferry departs from Battery Park (one of the stops on the Downtown loop) approx. every 20 minutes between 9:00am and 3:45pm in spring, summer and autumn; less frequency in winter. First stop is Liberty Island; second stop is Ellis Island then ferry returns to Battery Park.

  Tour length: Approx. 2 1/2 - 3 hours
  Departures: Daily except Thanksgiving, 12/24, 12/25, 12/31 & 1/1. Departures every 30 minutes between 6.00pm and 9.00pm from May to October. Departures at 6.00pm, 6.30pm and 7.00pm balance of the year *

Return Details:
Hop-on and hop-off at over 40 stops and connecting transfer points to switch from one tour loop to another. You must complete your journey within 48 hours.
