Day 1
New York - New Haven - Rhode Island - Boston
This morning we will travel north to New Haven, Connecticut to
visit Yale University which is the third oldest university in the U.S.
and is ranked as the second best university in the world according to U.S. News
& World Reports in 2008. We will visit the Mystic Aquarium (optional)
which is one of the few in North America housing Beluga whales and other rare
and remarkable sea creatures? A short drive to the wealthy
community of Newport, Rhode Island which is home the Breaker's Mansion
(optional); the summer home for the Vanderbilt family. The Breakers Mansion
is a 70-room mansion that overlooks the Atlantic Ocean and is named for the
waves crashing into the rocks below the 13-acre estate. The bus tour will then
leave Newport and head to the historic city of Boston which is the capital and
largest city of Massachusetts and also one of Americas oldest cities, with a
rich economic and social history. Free to wander around in the Faneuil Hall Marketplace, also known as Quincy Market which is set around
a cobblestone promenade where jugglers, magicians and musicians entertain the
passers-by. Optional: Mystic Aquarium and Breaker's

Day 2
Boston - New York
In morning, we explore Boston with a city tour features the Trinity Church which is the only church in the United States
and the only building in Boston that has been honored as one of the "Ten Most
Significant Buildings in the United States" by the American Institute of
Architects (AIA). Next, we visit the Havard University; the oldest
university in the United States. Later we stop by the Massachusetts Institute
of Technology (MIT); a world-class institution that educates students in
science and technology.
After lunch, the bus tour will conclude with the trip back to
New York City for an early evening arrival.

Lodging: Single price is for one person staying in one room.
Double, Triple & Quad prices are for two people , three people & four people
staying in one room respectively.
Child Rate: Children are 2-9 years old. Tour members who
are between 2 and 9 years and traveling with two adults in the same room
receive a child discount on the tour price. Each hotel room can only
accommodate a maximum 4 guests (adults and children).

sharing a room. Cancellation of free-fare passenger must be made at least 3 days before departure. No-show (or late cancellation) of free passenger incurs a
$76 penalty fee for the reserved bus seat
Booking Information
Confirmation
Immediately after submitting your reservation you will receive a receipt of
booking by email. Within 36 hours of submitting your reservation you will
receive a confirmation email confirming the booking status.
Please do not book any airline tickets until you receive the
status of your booking.
Redemption
Complete Operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your e-ticket. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

Booking changes
A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply.
Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to Gotobus by email or through web mail at Contact Us .
Cancellation penalties per person for 1-4 days tours
Up to 15 days prior to departure – 10% of total purchase amount.
8-14 days prior to departure - 25% of total purchase amount.
4-7 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
1-3 days prior to departure - 75% of total purchase amount.
Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
There is 6% handling fee add-on to the above penalties.
Cancellation penalties per person for tours last 5 or more days
Up to 46 days prior to departure – 10% of total purchase amount.
21-45 days prior to departure - 25% of total purchase amount.
8-20 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
1-7 days prior to departure - 75% of total purchase amount.
Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.

NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of tour.
Itinerary Variations
We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
Tour Cancellation:
We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, Gotobus' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.

May I have the hotel accommodation details for this tour?
The itinerary/details page of the tour will have information about the level of hotel. The actual hotel will not be finalized until 1 or 2 days before departure. Most hotels are around 2 stars and you may get the exact hotel details while reconfirming your tour.

Where will we have meals in this tour?
Meals are NOT included in the tour price but our tour guide will arrange meal stops. Normally we stop at a plaza to have some fast food, or stop at a Chinese buffet restaurant and passengers can order.

What is the "Buy 2 Get 3rd Free" policy?
We currently offer Buy 2 Free 3rd Free discount and the Triple Occupancy* rate has been adjusted to reflect this discount. *Total cost of a Double Occupancy is same as the total cost of a Triple Occupancy.

Where are the pick-up locations of tours?
Departure information, including time and location, is listed in the “Departure And Return Details” section of the tour itinerary. There is often a link to a map as well. Every e-ticket includes full pick-up time and location information. Please print out your e-Ticket and bring your ID to board the bus.

Can I pay this tour by cash?
No. Gotobus is a complete online travel company and uses a completely secure and automated booking system, therefore we can only accept bookings made online, using an authorized and valid credit card, check (by fax or mail) and money order (by mail).

What does the Lodging pull-down menu mean?
This is where you select how many people will be in your room. Double occupancy for hotel room is only guaranteed with a tour purchase by two persons. Single room is only for one person and price is higher. Family triple arrangements can be purchased with three tickets. Family quad arrangements can be purchased with four tickets.

Do I need to pick up a physical ticket?
No. You do not. E-Ticket will be automatically emailed to you after you complete your booking online. All you need to do is to bring a valid picture ID along with a printout of eTicket you receive to board the scheduled bus.

How long in advance can I purchase bus tour?
We usually allow customers to purchase a bus tour 30-45 days in advance.

Why can’t I find the tour date I want in this tour?
We only post available dates in our website. If you can't find date before last showed date in the tour, it means no service available. Also, we currently accept 60-90 for tours days advance bookings for tour service; if the date you want is outside this range, please bookmark the schedule page, as product updates occur every day.

Can you send me a brochure for this tour?
