Day 1
Los Angeles - Red Rock - Mammoth Lake
Depart Los Angeles for arid world with the feelings of excitement. We appreciate the beauty that sunshine reflects from the volcanoland which has red sandstone along the way. Around noon, we arrive at Lone Pine to enjoy the magnificent Nevada Sierra and Mt. Whitney, 14,494 feet tall, which is the highest mountain in 48 states in the US territory. Afternoon, we ahead to visit Manzanar which is one of Japanese Concentration Camp in the World War II. During the World War II, the refuge accepted approximately 10,000 people compulsory who were regarded as Japanese-Americans. The showpiece displayed in the memorial hall reappeared misery life in that period and the history suffered discrimination and persecution of Japanese-American. Then pass the Crowley Lake in which it is said that had sprayed volcano 600 years ago.

Mammoth Lake - Devil's Postpile - Los Angeles
Arrive at Mammoth Lake in the morning. High elevation trailheads are the starting points for paths to deep blue lakes and lush meadows nestled beneath the sharp, snow-capped peaks of the Eastern Sierra Nevada. Lupine and paintbrush dot the trails and the streamsides under an everblue sky. After that we go to Mammoth Mountain which has 11,053 feet (3,368 m) of vertical. It is the Ski paradise in winter. You can take Cable car to the top to relish the landscapes (own expense). Then we ahead to Trout breeding farm. Near the evening, we get the warm home with happy memories.

Lodging: Single price is for one person staying in one room. Double, Triple and Quadruple prices are for two people, three people and four people staying in one room respectively. Child rates apply to ages 2-9, please note each hotel room can only accommodate 4 guests (adults or children).
Language: All tours are escorted by professional bi- or multi-lingual tour and/or driver guides (English/Chinese). Depending on the number of passengers booked for a particular departure, tours and/or languages may be combined to operate the tours.
Cancellation of free-fare passenger must be made at least 3 days before departure
No-show (or late cancellation) of free passenger incurs a $118 penalty fee for the reserved bus seat
Child Rate: Child rates apply to ages 3-9 using existing bedding with 2 full-paying passengers. Each hotel room can only accommodate a maximum 4 guests (adults and children).
Infant Rate: A separate seat is required for infants and infant rate ($16/day) apply to those under 2 years old (*rate does not include any admission fees)

You will receive an confirmation email (e-ticket) after your order was received. Complete Operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your Confirmation Email (e-ticket). When you reserve your attractions and services you will be asked to print e-tickets to present when you arrive at your destination. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

May I have the hotel accommodation details for this tour?
The itinerary/details page of the tour will have information about the level of hotel. The actual hotel will not be finalized until 1 or 2 days before departure. Most hotels are around 2 stars and you may get the exact hotel details while reconfirming your tour.

Where will we have meals in this tour?
Meals are NOT included in the tour price but our tour guide will arrange meal stops. Normally we stop at a plaza to have some fast food, or stop at a restaurant and passengers can order.

Where are the pick-up locations of tours?
Departure information, including time and location, is listed in the “Departure And Return Details” section of the tour itinerary. There is often a link to a map as well. Every e-ticket includes full pick-up time and location information. Please print out your e-Ticket and bring your ID to board the bus.

Can I change my seats on the bus?
Seats are allotted on first book first served basis, we can make special arrangement if you can produce doctor's note etc.

Can I pay this tour by cash?
No. Gotobus is a complete online travel company and uses a completely secure and automated booking system, therefore we can only accept bookings made online, using an authorized and valid credit card, check (by fax or mail) and money order (by mail).

What does the Lodging pull-down menu mean?
This is where you select how many people will be in your room. Double occupancy for hotel room is only guaranteed with a tour purchase by two persons. Single room is only for one person and price is higher. Family triple arrangements can be purchased with three tickets. Family quad arrangements can be purchased with four tickets.

Why can’t I find the tour date I want in this tour?
We only post available dates in our website. If you can't find date before last showed date in the tour, it means no service available. Also, we currently accept 60-90 for tours days advance bookings for tour service; if the date you want is outside this range, please bookmark the schedule page, as product updates occur every day.

Do I need to pick up a physical ticket?
No. You do not. E-Ticket will be automatically emailed to you after you complete your booking online. All you need to do is to bring a valid picture ID along with a printout of eTicket you receive to board the scheduled bus.

Can you send me a brochure for this tour?
You will find an electronic brochure for each tour on our website describing all activities and itineraries. Printed brochures are not available. If you do not find adequate information about a tour on our website, please contact our online help. Contact customer support
