Day 1 Hometown - NYC (Night Tour) (12/25)

Welcome to the Big Apple! Upon arrival, you will be met at the baggage claim area of your selected airline by our professional tour guide, and then be escorted to the hotel with our scheduled shuttle bus for relaxation or to start your self-exploration of Lower Manhattan. Focus on the diverse downtown area: Little Italy, SOHO, and Chinatown. Walk through City Hall Park, and experience Brooklyn Bridge by foot. Join our optional night tour ($25/adult only) departing at 7PM to experience "the City that Never Sleeps"!

Day 2 New York City (12/26)

At first glance New York may seem too overwhelming, but our highly organized tour is designed to give you a taste of the Capital of the World, with much of the City's best in architecture, museums, history, shopping and fun! Just a few of the highlights you are going to see with us: Wall Street and its Charging Bull, Stature of Liberty, Brooklyn Bridge, Empire State Building, Ground Zero construction site, United Nations Headquarters, Times Square, Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum with more than 200 figures of celebrities, Rockefeller Center with the world's most beautiful Christmas tree, Fifth Avenue with the decorations in department store windows, and of course, the newly transformed USS Intrepid Sea-Air-Space Museum!

Day 3 NYC - Philadelphia - Washington, D.C. (Free Night Tour) (12/27)

Visit the birthplace of this great nation in the morning: Independence Hall & Liberty Bell in the Independence Park, which has been ranked as the most historic square mile in this country. Move on to today's most influential political center in the world: the White House, Capitol Hill, Jefferson Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam and Korean War Memorials, plus the best kept secret in town -- National Gallery of Arts with many world-class paintings.

Day 4 Hershey's Chocolate World - Corning Glass Center - Niagara Falls (Free Night Tour)(12/28)

Passing by Harrisburg, the Capital of Pennsylvania State, arrive in the sweetest town on the Earth--Hershey. Chocolate World shows how candy is made as you travel through a simulated Hershey factory. (Yes, there's a free sample, albeit tiny, at the end!) A 3-hour ride takes you to the Corning Museum of Glass, which maintains the most comprehensive collection of historic and art glass in the world: 35,000 glass pieces representing 35 centuries of glass craftsmanship. 200 miles away, the unmatched beauty of the Niagara Falls at night lit in the colors of the rainbow is waiting for you! Day 5 Niagara Falls - Albany - Boston (12/29)

We continue our sightseeing in Niagara Falls to see the majestic views of nature up close .It is important to note that Niagara Falls, consisting of the Horseshoe Falls, the American Falls, and the Bridal Veil Falls. A camera is a must for the gorgeous scenery. Walking along the snow covered Goat Island, you will have a broader view of the fall and experience the unique winter view. We will also be heading to the IMAX Theatre Niagara Falls (optional) where you can experience Niagara Falls' incredible stories. After that we ride through upstate New York and arrive at the capital city of New York - Albany. Here you will visit the Empire state plaza, The Egg ,the state house and the 9-11 Memorial where you can see the ruins of the building and damaged police cars. After that we head to the cultural city ,Boston. There will also be an opportunity to partake in Boston's most famous export-the lobster-during dinner.

Day 6 Boston - Yale University - New York (12/30)

Start the day with Harvard University, the institute older than this nation and educated 20% of our presidents. Take photos with John Harvard, and move on to MIT, a smaller campus full of extremely smart students. The classic Trinity Church and modern John Hancock Tower together make Copley Square a perfect place to appreciate the architecture of this city. Best way to experience Boston? Take a one-hour harbor cruise and enjoy the fantastic view. Have a real Bostonian lunch at Quincy Market, full of food stands and souvenir shops. In the afternoon, with a brief visit of Yale University, the third oldest college located in Connecticut, reach New York in the evening.

Day 7 New York - Times Square Celebration (12/31)

In the morning start with Harlem, where President Obama studied at Columbia University, and your senses will be overwhelmed with the music, the variety of stores, the restaurants, and the street prophets and musicians. The energy is relentless. New York is the world's premier performing-arts city, and Lincoln Center is its premier institution. Check the offerings here, which can include opera, dance, symphonies, jazz, theater, film, and more -- from the classics to the contemporary. The Times Square New Year's Eve celebration features star-studded musical performances, balloons, pom-poms, confetti, a colorful pyrotechnic display and about a million of your closest friends. Every year as the clock nears midnight on December 31st, the eyes of the world turn once more to the dazzling lights and bustling energy of Times Square. Anticipation runs high. New Year's Eve at the symbolic center of New York City has become more than just a celebration - it's a global tradition. We will get to the Time Square around 2:00pm-3:00pm with the bus being parked at 39 St. from where it takes us 10-15 minutes to walk to the Time Square. Some free time will be provided. After the countdown, travelers will need to get back to the bus. The bus will be leaving after collecting all of the travelers, which is around 12:30am-1:00am. For the ones who want to leave earlier, there will be a bus leaving around 8:30pm. For details, please check with the tour guide.

Day 8 New York City Shopping - Hometown (1/1)

Enjoy some free shopping time! With hundreds of pictures stored in your digital camera and wonderful memories in your mind, this should be the perfect ending of your 8-day tour with us. If the departure time of your return flight is before 2PM, please arrange your own transportation to the airport. If the departure time of your return flight is after 2PM, we do provide the free shuttle bus to the major three airports (LGA, JFK, EWR). For the Best Service, EWR airport is recommend.

  • Booking: Please book airline tickets after your tour booking is confirmed, tour booking will be confirmed within 1 business day.
  • Flight arrangement: There are still travel activities on the last day of the tour, please schedule flights to depart from New York after 8:00pm.
  • Lodging: Single price is for one person staying in one room. Double, Triple and Quadruple prices are for two people, three people and four people staying in one room respectively. Triple and Quad rooms are based on the existing bedding in a room which is 2 double beds.
  • Child Rate: Child rates apply to those 2-9 years and using existing bedding with 2 full-paying passengers (regardless of ages). Please note each hotel room can only accommodate 4 guests (adults or children).
  • Language: All tours are escorted by professional bi- or multi-lingual tour and/or driver guides. Depending on the number of passengers booked for a particular departure, tours and/or languages may be combined to operate the tours.

Redemption
Complete Operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your e-ticket. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

The purchase of any travel services represents your acceptance Terms & Conditions set out herein. Please ensure that you read carefully and understand these Terms & Conditions prior to booking.

Booking changes
A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply.

Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to Gotobus by email or through web mail at Contact Us .

Cancellation penalties per person for 1-4 days tours

  • 15-30 days prior to departure – 10% of total purchase amount.
  • 7-14 days prior to departure - 25% of total purchase amount.
  • 4-6 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
  • Within 3 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
  • Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
  • Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
  • Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a schedule trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every efforts to maintain the normal operation.
  • There is 6% handling fee add-on to the above penalties.

Cancellation penalties per person for tours last 5 or more days

  • Up to 46 days prior to departure – 10% of total purchase amount.
  • 21-45 days prior to departure - 25% of total purchase amount.
  • 8-20 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
  • 1-7 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
  • Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
  • Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
  • There is 6% handling fee add-on to the above penalties.

NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of tour.

Itinerary Variations
We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.

Tour Cancellation:
We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, Gotobus' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.

We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
