This tour route will offer you a rough idea of Shanghai, the one of the most international cities in China. Day 1
Shanghai
In the morning, you will visit the Jade Buddha Temple and Yu Garden. Jade Buddha Temple is a small but vivid temple and the white jade Buddha inside have a very good reputation because of his efficacious job. Yu Garden was long to be a typical southern Chinese private garden, with curving screen padded road, detail marble carvings and Chinese bonsai. Outside of the Yu Garden is the Old Town which displays the vibrancy of traditional Shanghai life.
After lunch you will be driven to Shanghai Museum, a modern museum telling you the history how this metropolis developed from a pimping village. Following is the visit to Pearl Tower, the highest tower in Asia, where you can have a bird-eye view of Shanghai city. After the whole day sightseeing, you can have free time in Nanjing Road, the No. 1 shopping road in China, or you can just go back to your hotel.

Day 2
Shanghai
Today you will visit the Zhujiajiao Old Town. 1hours driving will take you to this quiet Town. You will go around the town and explore some historic houses in this town, or just spend a leisure time in a riverside bar. In the afternoon you will be back to the downtown city and have a visit to Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall, where you can see how come Shanghai from its humble beginnings to the economic center of China. Time permit, you can visit the Youth Palace to see how Chinese children get education of Art after their class.

Is China safe enough to travel?
Chinese government guarantees the safety of the foreign travelers and Chinese people are friendly. Generally speaking, there is no political riot, nor terrorism. However, please pay close attention to your own property and take care of yourself when hiking on high mountains to avoid unnecessary unhappiness during your trip. What suggestions do you have for the first-time visitors?
Most visitors to China prefer to take a tour arranged by travel agents, since it is the simplest, most efficient and the most comfortable way of traveling. Independent traveling, though more flexible and easier to customize, is difficult. Problems may arise due to cultural and language barriers for travelers who attempt to arrange accommodations, meals, and transportations. Time cost will be high.

In order to apply for a visa to China, you may need an invitation from travel agent. We will supply this letter to you after you confirm the tour booking. Please E-mail us the basic information as name, gender, date of birth, passport number as well as your fax number so that we can fax you a formal invitation.

Do I need a visa for a visit to Hong Kong?
If you only visit Hongkong, please notice that residents of most countries can enter Hong Kong without applying for a visa in advance and are allowed to stay for 90 days. A visa will be issued on arrival.

Where could I make money exchange?
You could exchange cash at airport, most of banks and most of hotels have money exchange counter services. However, hotels offer money exchanging service to their guests only. Passport is required when you change money or check etc.

What kind of credit card can I use in China?
Cash advances are available on most common credit/debit cards e.g. American Express/Visa/MasterCard, but this service is available only from the main branch of the Bank of China in most Chinese cities. A fee of 3%-4% will be charged.

Can credit card be used everywhere in China?
These cards can be used at major hotels and outlets for tourists, as well as some shopping center in big city like Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Xi’an. But your international card is not acceptable in many big shopping centers for local people.

Is it easy for me to find ATM?
ATM is everywhere in big cities especially near your hotel, because almost all of your hotel locate in busy area. And there are ATMs for credit cards in most of hotels. Most of the internationally accepted credit cards are usable in China including: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diner's club, and the JCB card of Japan. So it is convenient to use ATM.

What is the electrical voltage in China?
Electricity in China is 220V, 50 cycles, AC. Two-pin sockets and some three-pin sockets are in use. Most of the hotels have a socket in the bathroom for both 110V and 220V. Most hotels have built-in convectors in bathrooms for shaving, hair dryers, etc. please prepare voltage convertor for your laptop or digital camera and so on.

What time is the best time for traveling in China?
China has many different kinds of climate for the large land area. In northeast area, four seasons are distinguished. Most of the rain is in summer. Winter and spring are very dry. In northwest of china, like Urumqi, an important city in Silk Road tour, winter is dry and cold and summer is dry and hot. The golden time to visit these cities is spring and autumn. In the southern part of China, like Shanghai, summer is humid and long lasted from May to September. In winter, it's wet and chilly. The best time to visit is spring and autumn.
