| Morning visit Tian'anmen Square, which is the capital city centre. Many key events affecting the whole country even the world happened here. Then you will make your way to Forbidden City, where the Emperors used to live and use your imagination when considering the life of one man and his many wives enclosed in the largest quadrangle in the world! Then, we offer you with the Tricycle Hutong tour to experience the daily life of Beijing residents, seeing the children in a kindergarten and climbing on the Bell Tower.
You will have Chinese Dumpling Lunch with other local dishes cooked by the housewife at a quadrangle. As for dinner, you will have a welcome dinner, the most famous meal in Beijing-Beijing Duck Dinner. At night, you will enjoy the exciting Chinese Acrobatic Show.

| In the morning, you will head to the Great Wall at Mu-tian-yu. 2 hours' driving will take you to this comparatively quiet section. At this location the Great Wall was built on steep mountains, yet don't worry, there is a cable car running up the wall directly. If you walk more than half hour on the Wall, you will arrive at the part named "Wild Wall" that haven't been restored for more than 500 years. On the way back to the city, you will have a chance to take a short visit of the Olympic Stadium, nicknamed "Bird's Nest" and the National Swimming Centre, also known as the "Water Cube."

| Fly to Lhasa. When you arrive to this "City of Sunlight", you’ll find you have arrived in another world of clouds, mountains and color. Lhasa is the heart of the Buddhists. Hidden away amongst the mightiest mountain range in this world are the Himalayas. Your local guide and driver will meet you and take you to your hotel. The rest of the day is on your own, to explore this city and determine the pulse of a constantly changing Tibet.

| Today you will be able to visit the Potala Palace, an architectural wonder dominating the Lhasa skyline. It is the most visible of all of the city's sight. You can imagine life centuries ago in this theocratic sanctuary. As for the lunch, your guide will take you to taste some local cuisine, deriving from yak milk and meat, such as Yak yogurt, and barley wine. After lunch, you will be able to visit the Jokhang Temple, situated in Barkhor Square, one of Tibet's holiest temples. If lucky, you can see long streams of pious Tibetan pilgrims walking clockwise in Barkhor, spinning their prayer wheels or performing full prostrations as they circle the temple. The rest of the day is for you to go around the Barkhor Square, like a Tibetan market, to see all the various peoples and goods makes for a collage of colors.

| Today you will first visit Sera Monastery, the largest living temple here with 700 monks. Then you will visit Drepung Monastery, served as a training center for young monks. A short climb is rewarded with a landscape view of Lhasa and the expansive mountains that ring the city. Hear you will see the sky stretching from the tallest mountains to the heavens.
Norbu Lingka was constructed as a summer palaces for the Dalai Lama. This once forbidden palace is ideal for quiet strolls and lazy afternoons. You are able to taste the eclectic mix of Tibet and Nepali food for lunch.

| Today 4 hours driving will take you to Shigatse, the second largest city in Tibet. On the way you will be able to have several photo stops at Holly Lake and Karola Glacier. You will be served with local Tibetan style food when arrival. Shigatse has an old Tibetan part, where people live their lives like they have been doing for the past hundreds of years. After lunch, you will be able to visit the Tashilhunpo monastery, which is the official residence of the Panchen Lama. It is almost like a town within a town, and there are hundreds of monks still living here. The most magnificent part of the Monastery is the Kelsang Temple in the northeast area of the compound.

| You will take another 4 hours' driving back to Lhasa. Enjoy the grassland view on the way. You will also have the opportunity to visit a local family, and see their daily life. When chatting with the host, you may enjoy a cup of butter tea made by the hospitable housewife. After lunch, a free afternoon is available for you to explore more of Lhasa and shop for some souvenirs.

What suggestions do you have for the first-time visitors?

Independent traveling, though more flexible and easier to customize, is difficult. Problems may arise due to cultural and language barriers for travelers who attempt to arrange accommodations, meals, and transportations. Time cost will be high. |

Where could I make money exchange?

| You could exchange cash at airport, most of banks and most of hotels have money exchange counter services. However, hotels offer money exchanging service to their guests only. Passport is required when you change money or check etc. |

| Cash advances are available on most common credit/debit cards e.g. American Express/Visa/MasterCard, but this service is available only from the main branch of the Bank of China in most Chinese cities. A fee of 3%-4% will be charged. |

| These cards can be used at major hotels and outlets for tourists, as well as some shopping center in big city like Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Xi’an. But your international card is not acceptable in many big shopping centers for local people. |

| ATM is everywhere in big cities especially near your hotel, because almost all of your hotel locate in busy area. And there are ATMs for credit cards in most of hotels. What is the electrical voltage in China?

| Electricity in China is 220V, 50 cycles, AC. Two-pin sockets and some three-pin sockets are in use. Most of the hotels have a socket in the bathroom for both 110V and 220V. Most hotels have built-in convectors in bathrooms for shaving, hair dryers, etc. please prepare voltage convertor for your laptop or digital camera and so on. |

What time is the best time for traveling in China?

| China has many different kinds of climate for the large land area. In northeast area, four seasons are distinguished. Most of the rain is in summer. Winter and spring are very dry. In northwest of china, like Urumqi, an important city in Silk Road tour, winter is dry and cold and summer is dry and hot. The golden time to visit these cities is spring and autumn. In the southern part of China, like Shanghai, summer is humid and long lasted from May to September. In winter, it's wet and chilly. The best time to visit is spring and autumn. |
