After leaving the railway station, your guide will take you to the Ming Dynasty Walls existed from 500 years ago. You can walk on this 1.5 km klunky wall towards the East Convenient Gate where the bullet train named Harmony running in and out the Beijing Railway Station can be seen. Pay attention to the nearby sites of the old railway and station built in 1903.
In the afternoon, you will take No.5 subway, the new subway open to public in Sep.2007. and visit China Railway Museum where retired trains are exhibited, such as the first steam train in China, the Oriental Red for Chairman Mao as well as those imported from German and Great Britain.
