DAY1 Arrival in Kunming (L/D)

Arrive in Kunming Airport from Hometown: Tour guide will meet you at the Baggage Claim Area and transfer to hotel.

DAY2 Kunming - Dali (B/L/D)

Take the morning flight to Dali. We will visit Three Pagoda Temple and old town area. Three pagodas, about 1 kilometer (0.6 mile) northwest of the ancient city of Dali, occupying a scenic location at the foot of Mt. Cangshan facing Erhai Lake, has a history of over 1,800 years. It is a symbol of the history of Dali City, and a record of the development of Buddhism in the area. As its name implies, Three Pagodas are made of three ancient independent pagodas forming a symmetrical triangle. This is unique in China. Three Pagodas, Zhaozhou Bridge of Hebei Province, and Big Wild Goose Pagoda in Xian, Shaanxi Province, are three curiosities of Chinese ancient architecture. A visit to The Three Pagodas should not be missed by any visitor to Dali City.

DAY3 Dali - Lijiang (B/L/D)

Today we will visit the Yan's Compound of Bai Minority in Xizhou and the tie--dyeing in Zhoucheng, Er Hai Lake which is the largest highland lake next to Dianchi and one of the seven biggest fresh water lakes in China. And then visit Guanyin Temple. After tour, we will transfer to Lijiang by coach. On the way, we will visit the Xizhou local residences.

DAY4 Lijiang (B/L/D)

Today we will visit the Jade Dragon Snow Mountains, which is the southernmost glacier in the Northern Hemisphere. Consisting of 13 peaks, among which Shanzidou is the highest one with an altitude of 5,600 meters (18,360 feet), Jade Dragon Snow Mountain stretches a length of 35 kilometers (22 miles) and a width of 20 kilometers (13 miles). Looking from Lijiang Old Town in the south which is 15 kilometers (nine miles) away, the snow-covered and fog-enlaced mountain resembles a jade dragon lying in the clouds, hence, the name Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Then proceed to Yufeng Temple, Baisha Murals and old town area.

DAY5 Lijiang - Zhongdian (B/L/D)

Today we will transfer to Zhongdian by coach. On the way, we will visit the Tiger Leaping Gorge. Extending for 15 kilometers from the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in Lijiang to the Haba Xueshan Mountain in Zhongdian, the Tiger-Leap-Gorge with a drop of 3,000 meters is believed to be the worldÂ’s deepest canyon. The name of the gorge is attributed to the legend that a tiger had once jumped across the gorge at its narrowest section 30 meters in width. The gorge, in which the Jinsha River pounds furiously at its rocky shores in an awesome fashion, sending up skyfuls of white froth, is a dream place for adventurers.

DAY6 Zhongdian (B/L/D)

After breakfast, we will visit the Grand Gedan Songzanglin Monastery, Dushu Lake and Tibet village. Dushu Lake is the largest in the county. With an ancient forest on one side, the east bank of the lake is lined with white birch trees that form a golden sea in autumn.

DAY7 Zhongdian - Kunming (B/L/D)

Transfer to the airport and flight to Kunming. We will visit Dragon Gate, which is the highest temple on the West Hill, and you will have a birds-eye-view of Kunming city and the Dianchi Lake. And then proceed to Huating Temple and Yuantong Temple in western mountains.

DAY8 Kunming (B/L/D)

Today we will visit the Stone Forest. The Stone Forest, known since the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644 A.D.) as the "First Wonder of the World", is in Lunan Yi Nationality Autonomous County, which is about 120 kilometers (75 miles) from Kunming and requires only a three-hour drive. Being one of the National Scenic Resorts in China, Stone Forest Scenic Resort has a complete range of karst forms.

DAY9 Kunming - Guangzhou (B/L/D)

Transfer to the airport and flight to Guangzhou. Visit the Yuesiu Park and Chen Family Temple, the largest and best preserved and decorated ancient architecture existing in Guangdong Province and now the site of the Guangdong Folk Art Museum.

Hotel: Landmark Hotel, Guangzhou or similar.

DAY10 Guangzhou - Hong Kong (B)

Transfer to train station and take the morning train to Hong Kong or next destination.
