DAY1 Arrival in Beijing (L/D)

Arrive in Beijing Capital International Airport from Hometown: Tour guide will meet you at the Baggage Claim Area and transfer to hotel. We will proceed to visit the Temple of Heaven if your flight arrives early. The Temple of Heaven is a masterpiece of architecture and landscape design which simply and graphically illustrates a cosmogony of great importance for the evolution of one of the world's great civilizations.

DAY2 Beijing (B/L/D)
Today we are going to have a full day sightseeing. We will visit the Chang Tomb, one of the Ming Tombs (Consisting of mausoleums of 13 Ming emperors, is one of the largest imperial necropolises in China), Sacred Road and Great Wall at Badaling which is the symbol of China and Climbing the Great Wall you can pass visitors from all over the world, and hear conversations in almost every language.

DAY3 Beijing (B/L/D)
Full day sightseeing to the Tiananmen Square and explore the Palace Museum (known as Forbidden City) in the morning. After lunch, visit the Imperial Summer Palace, the imperial palace for the Ming and Qing with a history of around 600 years. Enjoy a delicious Peking Duck Dinner at local restaurant in the evening.

DAY4 Beijing - Urumqi (B/L/D)
Today, we will start our Silk Road adventure by flying to Urumqi, the capital of Xinjiang Autonomous Region, the largest province of China. Urumqi has a history of over 2000 years and served as an important city along the Silk Road. We will visit the Xinjiang Museum Today.

DAY5 Urumqi - Kashgar (B/L/D)
A relaxing Tianchi Lake tour (Lake of Heaven) is arranged for us today. The lake is located at an altitude of 6000 feet on the mountain top. Snow capped mountains and lush fir tree covered hillside are mirrored in the iridescent waters, the lake is noted as one of the most beautiful places in the world due to its unusual mountainous desert setting. We are going to take a cruise on this crystal-clear lake. Then we will process on to Nanshan. After western dinner at hotel, we are going to the airport and fly to Kashgar in the evening.

DAY6 Kashgar (B/L/D)
Today we will visit the Abakh Khoja Tomb and Bazaar.
The Abakh Khoja Tomb, served as the family tomb of Abakh Khoja, the powerful ruler of Kashgar in the 17th century who was revered as a prophet and second only to Mohammed. Dinner at hotel.

DAY7 Kashgar - Urumqi (B/L/D)
After breakfast, we will visit the Id kah's Mosque, Big Mosque and the old town area. We will fly to Urumqi after dinner.

DAY8 Urumqi - Turpan (B/L/D)
This morning, a coach travel will take us to the Gobi Desert, along the legendary Silk Road to an ancient city - Turpan. We will visit the Thousand Buddha Cave today. As Buddhism was the first religion from abroad introduced to this area, Xinjiang witnessed the earliest development of Buddhist cave art in China. Soon after the religion's establishment in the region, Turpan became the Buddhist center on the Silk Road owing to its geographic location. Among the Buddhist caves found in Turpan, Bizalkik Thousand Buddha Caves are considered most valuable.
Bizalkik Thousand Buddha Caves stand high on the cliffs of west Mutou Valley under the Flaming Mountain, 45 km (28miles) east of Turpan. Of the 83 original caves, 57 caves currently remain. The murals cover an area over 1, 200 square meters (12,917 square feet) in more than 40 caves.

DAY9 Turpan - Liuyuan (B/L/D)
Today, we will visit the beautiful oasis of Grape Valley, Gaochang and Jiaohe Ruins. We will board an overnight soft sleeper train to Liuyuan.
DAY10 Liuyuan - Dunhuang (B/L/D)
Arrive in Liuyuan in the morning. We will take our bus to Dunhuang. Transfer to hotel.

DAY11 Dunhuang (B/L/D)
Situated at a crucial junction of the Silk Road, on the edge of the Gobi Desert, Dunhuang enjoyed the commercial and cultural prosperity as early as the 4th century AD and emerged as a prominent center of Buddhism. Our sightseeing in Dunhuang today includes the Mogao Grottos, Singing Sand Hill and beautiful Crescent Moon Lake. Western dinner at hotel.

DAY12 Dunhuang - Xi'an (B/L/D)
After breakfast, we will fly to Xi'an, the capital of ShaanXi Province, once the largest city in the world. Xian has a history of nearly 6000 years and was the starting point of the famous ancient Silk Road between Asia and Europe. Eleven ancient dynasties in Chinese history once claimed Xi'an as their capital. Today's city tour in Xi'an will include the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and City Wall.

DAY13 Xi'an (B/L/D)
Today, our tour program will include an unforgettable visit to the astonishing underground ruins. Terracotta Warriors and Horses are the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century, the army of terra-cotta warriors and the bronze chariots entombed in vast underground vaults at emperor Qin's tomb. Then you will enjoy Chinese lunch at local restaurant and banquet with show at Tang Dynasty Theater today.

DAY14 Xi'an - Beijing (B/L/D)
After breakfast, we will fly to Beijing. Transfer to hotel.
