Early this morning, we’ll embark on a breathtaking excursion to the Grand Canyon - one of the Seven Wonders of the World. As we travel through the Arizona Desert, we’ll learn about the area’s early Indian settlers and their desert communities, stopping along the way at Max and Thelma’s Restaurant for a complimentary buffet lunch. After a satisfying meal, we’ll trek along the paved roads that wind around the rim of the Grand Canyon and be awed by its plunging gorges and multicolored rock formations. Our excursion will take you right into Grand Canyon National Park, stopping at its new state-of-the-art visitor center, which offers interesting facts about the history of the Grand Canyon. Next we will visit Mather's Point, which gives a spectacular view of the deepest part of the Canyon, and Bright Angel Look-Out Point, from which we’ll see across a broad panorama of the winding canyon and the Colorado River far below.

After an exciting time spent at the Grand Canyon, we’ll head back to Las Vegas, stopping along the way in the town of Kingman to rest, stretch, and snack before traveling to and across the Hoover Dam, arriving in Las Vegas at about 8:45PM.
