In China's history, the liberation revolution has been through a long time. New China was born due to so many revolutionists' fight and sacrifice. Shanghai, as a big city, became the most important venue for revolutionists to spread advanced ideology and plan activities. Walking along the old road, you can imagine the history stories taken place in revolution period. And you will find that Shanghai is a good combination of the old and the new.

The half day tour is based on the free walk along the roads. Liyang Road is a typical one, where there are a lot of revolution celebrities' residences on one side and a very long wall hanging with introduction brands of those celebrities. Now, it turns to be a common citizens' living area, peaceful and harmonious.

Quite near the Liyang Road, there is Duolun Road. Not too wide, a good road to walk, quiet, there are some old residences of celebrities in 1900's. Besides, you can find Shanghai Duolun Museum of Modern Art here. Hong De Tang, a building of church of Christianity in the form of Chinese temple, may impress you a lot. If you feel tired, just stop and enjoy an old movie in a coffee movie bar. Some small antique shops have ancient coins, badges of Chairman Mao Zedong and post pictures during that revolution period.
