Day 1 :

Maybe you know the luxury royal palace was the emperors' home. Yet, not all emperors stayed in the palace from the birth to death. The last emperor named Puyi's life was the exception. He became the emperor at 3 years old and was evicted out of the palace at 19 years old. In the following years he went to Tianjin with the help of Japanese and was captured in Shenyang. After being released, he went back to Beijing to be a common gardener and lived in hutong area. His life is not smooth just because of his special identity. This tour takes you to explore his life.

The first place you visit will be the Price Chun's Mansion, where the last emperor Puyi was born, also, after he was driven out of the Forbidden City, shortly stayed here with his father. Also nearby you can visit the house for Empress Wanrong before she got married.

Then you will enter the Forbidden City. Imagine the 3 years old boy participating the enthronement ceremony in the Hall of Supreme Harmony and his boring life caged in the Inner Court at the end of the Qing Dynasty.

In the afternoon, you will be driven to the Botanical Garden, where Puyi worked here as a common worker after he was set free from Prison. The last stop will be a walking through the Dongguanying Hutong lane, where he lived until death and wrote the book "From Emperor to Citizen".
