Tour Itinerary:
- Day 1 USA to Beijing:
Fly to Beijing, the capital of China. Cross the International Date Line
and spend the night aboard the plane.
- Day 2 Arrive Beijing:
Upon arrival in Beijing, you are escorted to the five-star hotel
accommodations.
- Day 3 Beijing (B/L/DS):
Today’s sightseeing includes Tian An Men Square - the world’s largest
public square and the Imperial Palace (Gugong), the once Forbidden City, with
its over 9,000 elaborately carved and colorfully painted rooms, gardens,
theaters, temples and exhibition galleries that was the home of China's
emperors for almost 500 years, a testament of imperial China's splendor and
lavishness. After lunch, visit the Summer Palace whose apartments feature
jewel-encrusted furniture and precious objects. This evening, you are invited
to a delightful dinner party featuring Beijing Duck.
- Day 4 Beijing (B/L/D):
A highlight of your tour is the massive Great Wall. With a history of more
than 2000 years, The Great Wall just like a gigantic dragon stretching
approximately 6,700 kilometers from east to west of China. Take a gondola ride
up the mountain where you then begin your walk along the wall as it winds
across the mountains northeast of Beijing. In the afternoon, visit the Ming
Tombs - the general name given to the mausoleums of 13 emperors of the Ming
Dynasty. Then visit the magnificent Temple of Heaven, where Ming and Qing
emperors prayed to heaven for a good harvest.
- Day 5 Beijing (B):
A full day of leisure in Beijing for shopping and sightseeing. or choose
optional tour visit to Hutong (rickshaw ride, family visit, kindergarten or
school visit, etc.
- Day 6 Beijing to Xi'An (B/L/DS):
Fly to Xi’an in the morning. Xi’an, the eternal city, records the great
changes of the Chinese nation just like a living history book. Visit the
renowned Shaanxi Provincial Historical Museum, it houses a large collection of
113,000 historic and cultural artifacts unearthed in Shaanxi. It is an
absolute must for every visitor to the city. As the symbol of the old-line
Xian, Big Wild Goose Pagoda is a well-preserved ancient building and a holy
place for Buddhists. Dinner will be served as Imperial Dumpling Banquet.
- Day 7 Xi'An (B/L/D):
Visit The Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses, which are the most significant
archeological excavations of the 20th century. Work is ongoing at this site.
Walk around the ancient City Wall when come back to the city center, the City
Wall in Xian is the most complete city wall to survive in China, as well being
one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world. Tonight,
enjoy the Tang Dynasty show.
- Day 8 Xi'An to Shanghai (B/L/D):
After breakfast, fly to the “Oriental Paris” – Shanghai. Known as the
largest economic and trade center, a comprehensive industrial base and the
leading port in China, Shanghai draws the attention of the whole world. Visit
Yu Garden, Shanghai Museum and the Bund.
- Day 9 Shanghai (B):
A full day of leisure in Shanghai, you may go shopping at Nanjing or Huai
Hai Road's popular shops. Or you may choose an optional tour to Suzhou.
- Day 10 Shanghai to USA (B):
