You will leave Montreal at 8:00am, it takes around two hours to drive to Ottawa, the capital of Canada. Firstly, you will to visit the Parliament Hill, which includes the House of Commons, the Senate Chamber, the Peace Tower. Then you will visit the Rideau Hall which is the residence of General Governor of Canada. After having a delicious lunch at an International Buffet Restaurant, you will continue your trip by visiting the Canadian Royal Mint (CAD $5). After that, you will cross the bridge to Gatineau and visit the Canadian Museum of Civilization (CAD $12) and admire the spectacular view of the Parliament and cliffs across from the Ottawa River. Then you will take an hour's Rideau Canal Cruise(CAD $18). From the boat you will enjoy the best view possible of one of the engineering marvels of the nineteenth century, the guide will show you this major part of Canadian history as no one else is able to. Along the wy you will be shown many of the major sites. You will leave Ottawa at 5:30pm and arrive in Montreal around 8:00pm.
