Our tour begins at 6:30 PM when you meet the tour guide (at 1008 Clark, Montreal,Quebec H2Z 1J9 Canada), and transfer to the hotel. The remainder of your evening is at leisure.

DAY2 Montreal - Quebec - Boston

The tour departs Montreal for Quebec City in the morning. Once in the city, we’ll visit the historic area of Old Québec, designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There you will have the opportunity to stroll through the beautiful downtown district, admire the medieval style St. Louis Gate, and photograph the majestic Château Frontenac perched nearby above the Saint Lawrence River. You will also visit Quebec’s La Citadelle, an active military garrison that sits atop the hill overlooking the city and is home to the Royal 22e Régiment “Van-Doos” (the French speaking regiment of the Canadian military forces.) We’ll next make our trip across the American border and into Boston, where we should arrive in the evening for a quick tour of the downtown area and a stop at Quincy Market, one of Boston’s oldest (and liveliest) gathering places. You will also have a chance to sample some delicious lobster*, a Boston favorite, during dinner.

DAY3 Boston - New York City (Night Tour)

This morning we’ll depart from Boston's Chinatown to visit New York City, the most populous city in the United States, otherwise known as “The Big Apple.” Tonight, enjoy a special night tour* which will explore notable areas such as South Street Seaport, which offers romantic views of the City's bridges and skyline; the City's central business district, where we’ll visit Rockefeller Center, a complex that houses the magnificent ice skating rink (in winter), the gilded statue of Prometheus, and the GE Building, headquarters of NBC Studios; and Fifth Avenue, a street lined with so many luxury shops and businesses that is frequently called the “most expensive street in the world.” Finally, we will visit Times Square, an iconic crossroads of the city, where many colorful neon and LED signs light up the night sky.

DAY4 New York City (Full Day)

Today’s full day tour of New York City will begin at Ground Zero, site of the tragic events of September 11, 2001, and then move on to nearby Wall Street and the heart of city’s the financial district. Next, on a waterway cruise* around New York City harbor, we’ll view the city’s magnificent skyline and sights including the busy South Street Seaport, the Statue of Liberty, and the Brooklyn Bridge. We will visit Rockefeller Center, home to NBC Studios, and the surrounding shopping district along Fifth Avenue, mecca of the fashion industry and luxury brand retail stores. And no tour of New York City would complete without a trip to the top of the Empire State Building*, where on the 86th floor, 1,050 feet above the city's bustling streets, the observatory offers panoramic views from within a glass enclosed pavilion. Additional visits will include the newly transformed USS Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum*, as well as the glorious Metropolitan Museum of Art*, which contains many of the most famous works of art in the world. The tour continues to the bright lights of Times Square and the Broadway Theatre District, and finally, on to the United Nations, a gathering place for 192 countries to meet and discuss important issues of the world.

DAY5 New York - Philadelphia - Washington D.C.

We’ll depart from NYC in the morning to walk along the historical cobblestone streets of Philadelphia’s Independence Mall State Park, where we’ll see the Liberty Bell in its newly renovated home at the Liberty Bell Center, as well as Independence Hall and Congress Hall, birthplace of both the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. Moving on to Washington D.C., we’ll visit Capitol Hill and the White House, home to the U.S. Senate and the House of Representatives as well as the President of the United States; the National Air and Space Museum, which houses the largest collection of historic air and spacecraft in the world, and the stately white marble Lincoln and Jefferson Memorials which honor these notable past presidents. Next we’ll pay tribute to more modern heroes at the Vietnam and Korean War Veterans Memorials, both simple and moving monuments to men who sacrificed their lives for their country.

DAY6 Washington D.C. - Hershey Chocolate Center - Corning Glass Center - Niagara Falls

Hershey's Chocolate World, with its marketplace, shops and restaurants sweetly beckons our tour this morning. Once here you can take the chocolate tour, offering views of the chocolate making process, view a spectacular 3-D Show,*and/or participate in special chocolate tastings. Later, continuing on our way north, we’ll make a special stop at the Corning Glass Center*, a showcase and museum for the art and science of glassmaking. Here you will witness first-hand how craftsman and artisans work superheated glass into beautiful decorative pieces; at the conclusion of our visit, you will have the opportunity to purchase these unique items for yourself or a loved one in the Center’s wonderful gift shop. Afterwards, the tour will head to Niagara Falls to enjoy its beautiful night views. In what’s now a 140-year-old tradition, every evening the Falls are illuminated in changing colors of the rainbow.

DAY7 Niagara Falls - Toronto (Canada)

Today we’ll truly experience Niagara Falls in its full fury and majesty—as the most powerful waterfall in North America, an average of 4 million cubic feet of water falls over the crest every minute. First, we’ll take a thrilling boat ride aboard the world-famous Maid of the Mist* which offers up close and exciting views of the Falls (seasonal). Next, at the IMAX Niagara Falls* “The Falls Movie: Legends and Daredevils,” we’ll see and hear the unforgettable stories of the courageous few who have dared the waters of the powerful Falls. We’ll also visit the Skylon Tower*, where we’ll get spectacular views of the region from 775 above the mighty Falls. Our tour then departs for Toronto, where we will visit Toronto's City Hall and Parliament Buildings, the Sky Dome Sports Complex, the University of Toronto, as well as the CN Tower*, its most recognizable landmark and the tallest building in Canada. At the top of the tower, enjoy panoramic views through glass floor observation decks and see why this structure was recently nominated one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World. We may also join a Lake Ontario cruise* to take in the city's beautiful skyline, followed by dinner in Chinatown.

DAY8 Toronto - Thousand Islands - Ottawa - Montreal

Leaving Toronto in the morning, we head for Thousand Islands region. Situated between Canada and the United States along the St. Lawrence River, there are actually 1,864 individual islands that dot the waterway. We’ll take a cruise* in this special area, where we’ll see sights including the romantic Boldt Castle, built in the 1890's by millionaire George Boldt for his beloved wife Louise, as well as the "Shortest International Bridge in the World," a small footbridge across two islands located between Canada and the United States. Afterwards, the tour heads for Ottawa, the Canadian capital city, where we will visit the magnificent Parliament Building and the stately Clock Tower nearby. Then it’s on to the French Canadian city of Montreal, where we’ll tour the Olympic Tower*, part of the Olympic Park built for the 1976 Games, as well as two of the city’s major churches: the Notre-Dame Basilica, similar to its counterpart in Paris, as well as St. Joseph's Oratory, a major site of Roman Catholic pilgrimage and worship. Here we’ll end our tour, returning visitors to the dropoff location on Rue Clark.

Lodging: Single price is for one person staying in one room. Double, Triple and Quadruple prices are for two people, three people and four people staying in one room respectively. Triple and Quad rooms are based on the existing bedding in a room which is 2 double beds.
Language: All tours are escorted by professional bi- or multi-lingual tour and/or driver guides (English/Chinese). Depending on the number of passengers booked for a particular departure, tours and/or languages may be combined to operate the tours.

Redemption

Complete Operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your e-ticket. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

Booking changes
A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply.

Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to Taketours by email or through web mail at Contact Us .

Cancellation penalties per person for 1-4 days tours

15-30 days prior to departure - 10% of total purchase amount.
7-14 days prior to departure - 25% of total purchase amount.
4-6 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
Within 3 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a schedule trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every efforts to maintain the normal operation.
There is 6% handling fee add-on to the above penalties.

Up to 46 days prior to departure - 10% of total purchase amount.
21-45 days prior to departure - 25% of total purchase amount.
8-20 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
1-7 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
There is 6% handling fee add-on to the above penalties.

NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of tour.

Itinerary Variations
We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.

Tour Cancellation:
We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, Taketours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.

1	What is the "Buy 2 Get 3rd Free" policy?

We currently offer Buy 2 Free 3rd Free discount and the Triple Occupancy* rate has been adjusted to reflect this discount. *Total cost of a Double Occupancy is same as the total cost of a Triple Occupancy.

2	May I have the hotel accommodation details for this tour?

The itinerary/details page of the tour will have information about the level of hotel. Most hotels are around 2 stars (local tours) and 3-4 stats (5+ days vacation packages) and you may get the exact hotel details while reconfirming your tour.

3	Where will we have meals in this tour?

Meals are NOT included in the tour price but our tour guide will arrange meal stops. Normally we stop at a plaza to have some fast food, or stop at a restaurant and passengers can order.

4	Where are the pick-up locations of tours?

Departure information, including time and location, is listed in the “Departure And Return Details” section of the tour itinerary. There is often a link to a map as well. Every e-ticket includes full pick-up time and location information. Please print out your e-Ticket and bring your ID to board the bus.

5	Can I pay this tour by cash?

No. Gotobus is a complete online travel company and uses a completely secure and automated booking system, therefore we can only accept bookings made online, using an authorized and valid credit card, check (by fax or mail) and money order (by mail).

6	What does the Lodging pull-down menu mean?

This is where you select how many people will be in your room. Double occupancy for hotel room is only guaranteed with a tour purchase by two persons. Single room is only for one person and price is higher. Family triple arrangements can be purchased with three tickets. Family quad arrangements can be purchased with four tickets.

7	How to select and pay the optional admission fee?

It should be paid upon arrival. Please bring cash for optional admission fees, meals, as well as tips to tour guide.

8	Do I need to pick up a physical ticket?

No. You do not. E-Ticket will be automatically emailed to you after you complete your booking online. All you need to do is to bring a valid picture ID along with a printout of eTicket you receive to board the scheduled bus.

9	Why can’t I find the tour date I want in this tour?

We only post available dates in our website. If you can't find date before last showed date in the tour, it means no service available. Also, we currently accept 60-90 for tours days advance bookings for tour service; if the date you want is outside this range, please bookmark the schedule page, as product updates occur every day.

10	Can I change my seats on the bus?

Seats are allotted on first book first served basis, we can make special arrangement if you can produce doctor's note etc.

11	Can you send me a brochure for this tour?

You will find an electronic brochure for each tour on our website describing all activities and itineraries. Printed brochures are not available. If you do not find adequate information about a tour on our website, please contact our online help. Contact customer support

12	How to cancel this tour?
