Day 1 : Boston - Niagara Falls:

This morning, we depart Boston at 8:00 am, heading north to Niagara Falls on the border separating U.S. and Canada. Those who are interested in a special adventure may like to try the Maid of the Mist boat ride*, a one-of-a-kind experience which will take you amazingly close to the wall of cascading water as it rains down from above.  After drying off, we’ll then head to Goat Island, the oldest state park in the U.S., which offers spectacular views of the Canadian Horseshoe Falls, American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls. Not to be missed is the IMAX Experience Niagara Falls*, which will provide you with perspective on the lore, legends, and daredevilry associated with this wonder of the world. We’ll then cross over to the Canadian side of the Falls to also head to the top of the Skylon Tower*, 160 meters above the edge, for an unparalleled glimpse 236 meters down to the base of the Falls. After dinner in Niagara, we’ll continue to our hotel in Toronto for the night.

Day 2 : Toronto City Tour:

In the morning, we breakfast on dim sum in Toronto’s Chinatown to energize for a full-day’s travel around the city’s attractions. We’ll visit the CN Tower*, the tallest free-standing tower in the Western Hemisphere at 553-plus meters; view the city and harbor island parks from Lake Ontario aboard the Toronto Harbor Cruise*, and afterward, see more of the city by land, stopping at the New City Hall, Sky-Dome Sports Complex, and the Ontario Parliament Building. At the Eaton Shopping Center, you will have the opportunity to browse the largest mall in Eastern Canada. And in the evening, we’ll tour Toronto’s unique historical landmark, the Casa Loma castle and museum, former residence of Toronto financier and industrialist, Sir Henry Mill Pellat. After dinner, we return for another night’s stay in the city.

Day 3 : Thousand Islands - Boston:

We depart Toronto in the morning for our next destination, the Thousand Islands, a string of approximately 1,800 islands that span the U.S.-Canada border, stretching for over 50 miles from the mouth of Lake Ontario downstream of the St. Lawrence River.  When you arrive, you will be able to explore the archipelago aboard a Thousand Islands Boat Cruise*, which will take you around some of the most beautiful scenery that the region has to offer, through waters that were once patrolled by pirates, now dotted by seafaring vacationers.  You will hear the various legends surrounding the islands and witness the many historic sites that contribute to the lore.  Following the cruise, we’ll complete our tour with our return to Boston at approximately 8:30 pm.
