Day 1 : Boston - Niagara Falls |
This morning, we depart Boston at 8:00 am, heading north to Niagara Falls on the border separating U.S. and Canada. Those who are interested in a special adventure may like to try the Maid of the Mist boat ride*, a one-of-a-kind experience which will take you amazingly close to the wall of cascading water as it rains down from above. After drying off, we’ll then head to Goat Island, the oldest state park in the U.S., which offers spectacular views of the Canadian Horseshoe Falls, American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls. After dinner, passengers will have the option of a special night tour of this natural wonder, as the Falls can be quite spectacular when they are illuminated after dark. |
Day 2 : Niagara Falls - Toronto |
Our tour continues in Niagara with a not-to-be-missed IMAX Experience Niagara Falls*, which will provide you with perspective on the lore, legends, and daredevilry associated with this wonder of the world. We then depart for Toronto in the afternoon, to visit the CN Tower*, tallest free-standing tower in the Western Hemisphere, at 553-plus meters. You will be able to view the city’s skyline, inner harbor, and island parks aboard a Toronto Harbor Cruise*, and afterwards, enjoy more of the city’s sights, such as the New City Hall, Sky-Dome Sports Complex, and the Ontario Parliament Building. After dinner, we’ll return to our hotel in Toronto for a night’s rest. |
Day 3 : Toronto - Thousand Island - Ottawa - Montreal |
We depart Toronto in the morning en route to our destination for the evening, Montreal. Along the way, we’ll stop at the Thousand Islands, where we’ll be able to explore the archipelago aboard a Thousand Islands Boat Cruise*, which will take you around some of the most beautiful scenery that the region has to offer. Later, we’ll stop in Ottawa, Canada’s capital city to tour the Parliament building and see the Monument and Embassy District, before making our way to our final destination for the day, Montreal, the “Paris of Canada”. Here you will visit the famous design of Montreal’s Olympic Stadium in the shadow of the Olympic Tower and Stadium Observatory. You will also see St. Joseph’s Oratory of Mount Royal, a Roman Catholic Basilica which is over 100 years old before we return to our hotel for the evening.
